Kyle Richards’ oldest daughter Farrah Brittany is opening up about her mom’s “painful” ongoing feud with her sister Kathy Hilton.

The Buying Beverly Hills star appeared on the “#NoFilter with Zack Peter” podcast, where she revealed that the feud between her mom and Aunt Kathy is hard to navigate, especially because of her close relationship with her cousin, Paris Hilton.

“It’s too painful,” Farrah confessed before adding that she and Paris just avoid the subject when they hang out.

She notes that she and Paris agreed to “shut out” the drama and “let our moms do their thing.” 

“We’re both very defensive of our moms — but we’re also extremely, extremely close. If we let that interrupt our dynamic, it would be just too painful, really, and too hard to untangle,” she explained.

“Hopefully, everything’s going to be OK soon,” she added. “It’s really hard to deal with.” 

In recent months Paris has chimed in on the drama involving her mom on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The heiress liked numerous tweets bashing her Aunt Kyle while calling the entire RHOBH cast “so unkind” they mocked Kathy’s attempt to promote her Casa Del Sol tequila during the cast trip to Aspen, CO.

Farrah admits that she’s been tempted to publically defend her mother against attacks.

“Before, I would just be like, ‘Mom, who cares what anyone says? Like whatever,’” she admitted. “[But] this last season of her show, I was very worked up. I wanted to respond to every person and just be like, ‘You don’t know everything, like, you just don’t know.’”

The 34-year-old notes that she was upset to see all the hate her mom received this season from Kathy’s fans.

“And it does bother me that she gave so much for all those years and was so loved and beloved,” she said. “But people, this audience, is so fickle; they want to see what they want to see if they like certain people, they can do wrong. If they turn on you, then there’s nothing you can do right, and that part is like, where’s the loyalty?”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.
