Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have officially separated after 27 years of marriage.
Rumors have been circulating that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband Mauricio were having marital issues but Kyle Richards seemed to deny them. Now People Magazine is confirming the split saying,
“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
How did Kyle and Mauricio meet?
Kyle met Mauricio Umansky at a nightclub called Bar One when she was 23 and he was 24. Kyle was divorced from Guraish Aldjufrie, with whom she had daughter Farrah Aldjufrie in 1988. The same year they met, Mauricio proposed in Santa Monica, California.
The couple have three daughters, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23 and Portia, 15.
While attending the 31st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in March 2023, Kyle spoke on the rumors about her marriage saying,
“The analyzing of everything is so… we were just talking about that in the car. I’m seen out at the gym without a ring on, or the rumors about weight loss. I just… I can’t keep up anymore, and I was just telling [Dorit Kemsley] in the car ride over that I don’t even care anymore… All I know is my anxiety is better than it’s ever been and I just… I just can’t stress about it anymore.
Last week Instagram’s @FaceReality16 created a highlight speculating that there were major problems with Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky that involved country music singer Morgan Wade.

So Kyle and Morgan Wade are a couple. There are several HW’s on several shows who will be angry as heck that Kyle was the first to get the girl.
After his many hook-ups over the years, I wonder who Mo is now with?

You could be right. Kyle supposedly put out a statement that they’ve had a rough year but they are not getting divorced. My first thought was was this a ploy to up ratings. Ugh.
Don’t think it has anything to do with ratings. They had a challenging year as a couple.
Anyone who watches rhbh saw this coming a mile away. I wonder if this is why Kathy reconciled with Kyle, maybe she thought her sister needed her. Did Kyle’s daughter get married yet? The Morgan Wade rumors, OMG! Maybe the Dorit rumors were true, tho Dorit doesn’t seem like MO’s type to me.

I am too, even tho we all saw it coming. And I gotta admit, it makes me sad. I think all of the times they talked about their love for each other. Some people, you know it’s bs, but I honestly think these two were sincere.
Reality show curse hits again.
They have rumors Mo has been cheating on Kyle for for decades. Maybe she just had enough and decided to stop taking the crumbs of a relationship he was giving. She will be financially set with not having a prenup, and she’ll be free to carve out the best life for herself.
Divorce doesn’t always have to be bad. Maybe they have just run the course of their relationship, their values are different, and what they want from a relationship is different. It doesn’t have to be the end of a family, as long as everyone is mature about it. I can see Kyle and Maurizio being very mature about their divorce.
I can also see them still keeping their family together and going on vacations together. Kind of like Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
No surprise to me I just think that if she wants to be on reality tv RHOBH then why wait until filming wraps to let it out of the bag? But then again that’s what they all do so nothing is on camera.

I love Kyle’s life and marriage and family. I hope they reconcile.
I think this is very sad for this family and the daughters, especially the year they are planning a wedding. It has been a very beautiful family together. I do think they have been great parents. Unfortunately I think now a lot of stories, rumors, etc. and information is going to come forward now that they have separated and people feel they can talk now and it won’t be pretty.
