There’s nothing but love, love, love between Louie Ruelas’ ex-wife and his new wife, Teresa Giudice.
Marisa Dimartino Ruelas, Louie’s ex-wife, is speaking out about his marriage to the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG.
“She’s very nice,” Marisa tells Page Six, noting that Teresa “couldn’t have been more accommodating and respectful.”
The 48-year-old had met Teresa twice before she and Louie tied the knot in August 2022; however, this past weekend, Marisa got to spend more time with the longtime reality star and really got to know her more.
The blended family spent time together in Atlantic City, NJ, to celebrate Marisa and Louie’s son Louie’s birthday.
“Everything was cordial,” Marisa said. “[Giudice] told me that she loves [my kids] just like they were her own. My son, he really had nothing but good things to say about her as well.”
Marisa acknowledges that her relationship with Louie hasn’t always been the best since their divorce but admits things are in a better place.
She also talks about her kids appearing on RHONJ while insisting she has “no” interest in being on the show unless it was a family scene involving her, Louie, and Teresa’s now blended family.
“When it comes to Luis and I, we just basically talk to each other when we have to co-parent,” she explains. “It’s not like we talk to each other every day or go to dinner every day. It’s just about the kids.”
“Once they got married, I thought, ‘This woman is a part of my children’s lives,’” she adds. “I can’t be totally out of the picture, you know, it’s not right for my children. I’m doing this only for my children.”
“My whole thing is it’s all about the immediate family,” she explains. “My relationship is just with their immediate family, which is the kids.”
She adds, “It’s been two years that I’ve tried to stay away from the public eye, and, by doing so, it created less time for me and my other son [Louie].”
Meanwhile, Teresa posted all about the celebration they had for Louie’s son on Instagram.

Louie Jr commented on Teresa’s post and gushed about what an amazing step-mom she is to him and his brother.
“Best stepmom in the world,” Louie wrote. “Words don’t do justice to how amazing you are.”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
