Andy Cohen is revealing how the source of the leaked Summer House reunion audio was ultimately uncovered and according to him, it was not just internal investigators who solved it.
Speaking on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Andy explained that while Bravo launched a full investigation into the leak, a fan played a key role in identifying where it came from.
“They had people analyzing what kind of device recorded, they had investigators,” he said, adding that the situation unfolded while he was recovering from cataract surgery. “Now I’m home recuperating Friday night, the investigators were on it, and all I can tell you and you will hear more about this later but a Bravo fan came forward.”
He continued, giving credit to that individual for helping move things forward.
“Though this team of investigators were on it, a Bravo fan, who you’re gonna hear more about, cracked the case, delivered crucial information.”
The leak in question involved audio from the Summer House Season 10 reunion, where Ciara Miller confronted Amanda Batula about her relationship with West Wilson. The clip quickly spread online just one day after filming, sparking speculation about who may have been responsible.
Bravo later confirmed the results of its investigation in a public statement, making it clear the cast was not involved.
“The audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” the network said. “There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”
Andy also addressed the reaction from fans and online accounts, specifically acknowledging those who chose not to spread the leaked clip.
He praised “the dedicated Bravo fan accounts” that avoided sharing it or pushing “any garbage hot takes blaming the cast.”
At the same time, he made his feelings about the situation very clear.
“It’s a violation that ruins the integrity of the show and all the hard work of the cast who we love.”
Bravo echoed that sentiment, previously calling the leak “a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew and the integrity of the production process.”
The network also warned that additional unauthorized audio may still be circulating and urged people not to share it.
With the source now identified and action reportedly taken, the focus shifts back to the reunion itself which, based on the reactions so far, is expected to be one of the most intense yet.
