Craig Conover is giving Paige DeSorbo credit where it’s due.
The Southern Charm star appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he was asked about his ex-girlfriend’s recent success following their very public and messy breakup.
Craig and Paige split in late 2024 after three years together, and what initially seemed like an amicable breakup quickly turned complicated. Paige announced the split on her Giggly Squad podcast, explaining that the two were moving in different directions. Craig later said on WWHL that the breakup was not mutual and claimed he felt blindsided by Paige’s decision.
The breakup only got messier when rumors started swirling that Paige had moved on quickly after the split. Austen Kroll fueled speculation during a WWHL appearance when he suggested Paige may have already been seeing someone else. Paige quickly pushed back in the comments, denying the narrative and writing, “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken to in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing.”
She also made it clear at the time that she did not have a new boyfriend and did not appreciate people acting like she had broken up with Craig and immediately moved on.
Since then, Paige has been linked to sports executive Joe D’Amelio, with the two later becoming more public about their relationship. Paige has said dating someone outside of reality TV has felt like a breath of fresh air after having such a public relationship with Craig.
But professionally, Paige has also been on a major run.
Her podcast with Hannah Berner, Giggly Squad, recently landed a massive four-year deal with SiriusXM. The deal makes SiriusXM the exclusive distributor and global ad sales partner for the hit podcast across audio and video. Giggly Squad has become one of the most successful comedy podcasts in the Bravo-adjacent space, with Paige and Hannah turning their friendship and fanbase into a full brand.
While speaking about Paige on WWHL, Craig acknowledged how well she is doing.
“She is doing great,” Craig said. “So great example of hard work pays off.”
Craig then referenced Paige’s recent deal, adding, “I heard she got a huge deal.”
The Sewing Down South founder used Paige’s success as an example of what can happen when people put real work into their careers.
“Everyone should start taking accountability of their own lives and being like, if I put the work in, it has a chance of working out,” Craig said.
Craig’s comments are notable considering how messy things got after the split. Their breakup played out across Bravo shows, podcasts, WWHL interviews and social media, with both sides addressing rumors, hurt feelings and the timeline of how things ended.
But this time, Craig did not take a shot at Paige. Instead, he praised her success and seemed to acknowledge that her post-breakup career momentum is the result of her own work.
