Dr. Terry Dubrow just dropped some serious tea on the latest episode of Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey, and he didn’t hold back. From addressing wild rumors about his marriage to Heather Dubrow, to proving a point to Jillian Michaels, to sharing his honest thoughts on the internet’s weirdest skincare trend, the Botched star had plenty to say.

“People Said We Called the Paparazzi”
Dubrow opened up about one rumor that spiraled out of control after paparazzi caught him and Heather at Disneyland.
“One of the things we got accused of was there were some rumors about our relationship that were ridiculous,” he told Jowsey. “My daughter had a 15 or 16-year-old birthday, so we took her and her friends to Disneyland… and some paparazzi took pictures of us and it came out and people said we called the paparazzi to counteract rumors that we were breaking up or something.”
He called the claims “silly,” but admitted that people still believe them. “Most of the people out there think we did, and what I said on the show, it became a storyline on The Real Housewives of Orange County. How silly is this?”
Rather than getting upset, Dubrow laughed it off. “First of all, I want that paparazzi. I love being famous,” he joked. “And our kind of fame is the sweet fame. Everybody’s nice to us. We don’t get mobbed, but we do get a lot of attention.”

The Exam He Took Just to Prove Jillian Michaels Wrong
In one of the funniest moments of the interview, Dubrow confessed that he actually studied for and took a real medical board exam just to make a point.
“I was concerned that Jillian Michaels was going to say, ‘Well, you’re just a plastic surgeon. What do you know about the treatment of obesity?’” he said. “Even though I’m an MD, I studied for and took the American Board of Obesity Medicine Certification Exam.”
When Jowsey asked if he really did it just because of that, Dubrow laughed. “Just because of that. I know, I know. I’m such a nerd.”
Terry’s Take on the $2,000 Salmon Sperm Facial
And of course, the conversation took a skincare turn — this time about the internet’s favorite viral beauty trend: the salmon sperm facial.
“You ever heard of salmon sperm facials?” Dubrow asked. “Okay, so the $2,000 salmon sperm facial. Okay, great, you want to do it? Great, but what are you expecting from it? You know, is it going to make your skin a little bit nicer? Yeah, maybe, you know, enjoy it. Yes, great, go for it, but don’t spend a lot of money on that kind of stuff.”
