Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s divorce drama is getting even messier, and this time, Jax’s girlfriend Lori Krebs is right in the middle of it.
The former Vanderpump Rules couple, who are currently battling it out in court, reportedly exchanged heated messages on July 15, 2026, one day after news broke that Jax was romantically involved with Lori, his and Brittany’s former publicist.
The situation was especially personal for Brittany because Lori had previously represented her before news of the relationship came out.
According to the messages, obtained by TMZ, Jax first accused Brittany of having another man around their son Cruz.
“Your sick brain thought it was okay to have a random guy sleep in the same house with my son … a guy you had to pay to be your boyfriend non the less,” Jax allegedly wrote.
Brittany fired back by reminding Jax that he had signed a court document agreeing not to bring any new romantic partner around their son for the first six months of dating.
“You broke the law Lori is to never be around my son,” Brittany allegedly responded.
She made it clear she felt Jax crossed a serious line by having Lori around Cruz.
“You have crossed the line having my son around her,” Brittany allegedly said. “If it happens again he will be taken out of your home. Do not contact me you will see him next weekend.”
Jax pushed back by saying Lori had known Cruz since he was born.
But Brittany did not seem to care how long Lori had been around the family before becoming involved with Jax. For Brittany, the issue appeared to be Lori’s new role in Jax’s life and the court agreement about new partners being around Cruz.
Jax also brought up travel with Cruz, allegedly telling Brittany, “I am also telling my lawyer if you don’t allow me to take him to Michigan he will never set foot in Kentucky again.”
Brittany ended the conversation by once again making her boundary clear.
“You are not to have anyone around Cruz including her,” Brittany allegedly wrote.
The messages add another explosive layer to Jax and Brittany’s already bitter split.
Lori Krebs’ relationship with Jax has been controversial from the beginning because she was once connected to both Jax and Brittany professionally. Fans have questioned the dynamic, while Brittany’s close friend Zack Wickham has also called Lori out publicly.
Zack previously claimed Lori once had a very different opinion of Jax and even suggested he had old messages that could show how she allegedly used to feel about him.
“I feel like we should release texts from her about Jax over the years so you can get an idea how she hated him, spilled all his tea, thought he was gross, wanted Britt away from him, etc so then everyone could see just how bamboozled we were. Cuz she knew everything,” Zack wrote on Threads.
The Lori drama comes as Jax and Brittany are also making dueling court claims against each other.
Brittany was recently granted a temporary restraining order against Jax after alleging years of abuse, including claims that he threatened to “gut” her “like a fish” and fat-shamed her in front of their son. Jax has denied some of Brittany’s allegations and said he will address the full story in court.
Jax has since filed for his own restraining order against Brittany, accusing her of trying to interfere with his work opportunities and claiming she cost him a $175,000 comeback role on Special Forces.
