During a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis Has Issues, Tamra claimed Shannon had a “meltdown” at The Quiet Woman in Corona Del Mar, California, after the restaurant allegedly did not pick up her bill.

The Quiet Woman has become an iconic location for Real Housewives of Orange County fans, largely because of Shannon and the cast’s history filming there over the years.

On the June 24 episode of Jeff Lewis’ podcast, Jeff brought up the situation while talking to Tamra.

“Shannon was mad that The Quiet Woman didn’t pick up the check,” Jeff said.

Tamra immediately confirmed there was an issue.

“Oh, Shannon had a meltdown. Oh yeah,” Tamra said.

Jeff then noted that Shannon had brought a lot of attention and press to the restaurant over the years because of RHOC. Tamra agreed that Shannon felt the restaurant had benefited from the show and from her presence specifically.

Tamra said she even told the owner that directly.

“I actually told the owner that because Shannon was just really upset because she says she feels like Bravo has put them on the map, and the bill wasn’t even that high. It was like $540 or something like that. We only had apps and drinks,” Tamra explained.

According to Tamra, Shannon felt frustrated because despite filming at The Quiet Woman and helping make the restaurant recognizable to RHOC viewers, she had never been given a complimentary meal.

“I had to tell them, I’m like, ‘Listen, Shannon just feels like she’s come in here and she’s filmed here, and we’ve all filmed here, and she hasn’t even got a free meal, ever, and doesn’t ask,” Tamra said.

Tamra revealed that the restaurant eventually agreed to reverse the charges.

“They said, ‘We’ll reverse the charges.’ And they did,” Tamra recalled.

According to Tamra, even after the restaurant agreed to reverse the charge, Shannon remained upset.

“Shannon didn’t stop,” Tamra said.

Still, Tamra admitted that while Shannon may have overreacted, she did not think Shannon’s overall point was wrong.

“Her message was right. She wasn’t wrong about it,” Tamra said.

Tamra also said Shannon later seemed to acknowledge that she may have taken things too far.

“She even said this morning when she was here. She’s like, ‘Maybe I overreacted a little bit.’ But that’s okay. That’s Shannon,” Tamra reasoned.

The story is especially funny for longtime RHOC fans because The Quiet Woman has been tied to some of the franchise’s most memorable moments. Shannon and the restaurant have practically become linked in Housewives history, with fans associating the spot with years of Orange County drama.

So from Shannon’s perspective, it seems she felt the restaurant had received major exposure from her and the show.

But according to Tamra, the situation turned into a full meltdown over a bill that was around $540 for appetizers and drinks.

Tamra may agree Shannon had a point, but she also made it clear that the delivery was very Shannon Beador.

And in true RHOC fashion, even a dinner bill at The Quiet Woman managed to become drama.
