Heather Dubrow teases “interesting” new season of RHOC after almost a month into filming for season 18! Get all the tea!
Longtime Bravo star Heather Dubrow reveals that filming for season 18 of the Real Housewives of Orange County is in full swing and notes that things amid the OC Housewives is already heating up.
“I can confirm that we are filming Season 18, and I can tell you that truth is stranger than fiction,” Heather Dubrow told Page Six.
“Wow — this is going to be an interesting season,” she added.
The season 18 drama most likely involves Alexis Bellino, who is returning to the Real Housewives of Orange County as a friend of the Housewives. Alexis is currently dating Shannon Beador‘s ex-boyfriend, John Jannsen.
“Her relationship with John is certainly interesting,” an insider previously teased. “But it’s not the only reason producers want Alexis back. She’s a dynamic personality who has history with a good portion of the cast.”
Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Jennifer Pedranti are all returning for season 18 of RHOC. They are reportedly being joined by newbie, Heather Tuck, a real estate agent in OC. Alexis is expected to round out the cast as a friend of the Housewives.
Meanwhile, on the January 26 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast, RHOC star Emily Simpson appeared where she and Tamra dished on filming for season 18.
“We’re only two weeks into production. So you know, the first couple of weeks, it’s only one crew – it’s slow. Then next week is when it really starts picking up,” Tamra explained.
“But I would say it’s not as slow as it normally is when you start out,” Emily added, noting, “We got a shitload of stuff going on already.”
Both ladies agreed that they are excited for Alexis’ return and what she will bring to the show this time around. And I’m pretty sure Bravo fans agree plus, we are all super excited for the drama between Alexis and Shannon.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return for season 18 in mid-to-late 2024.
