Former star of The Real Housewives of New York, Carole Radziwill, is onto new endeavors since departing from the RHONY! Carole has signed with Verve and has “several projects” in development. Carole was on the RHONY for six seasons, but prior to reality TV she was an Emmy award winning journalist. She’s also a New York Times bestselling author, her first book, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love spent 20 weeks on the NYT Best-Sellers list. She also wrote a monthly column for Glamour magazine called ‘Lunch Date.’
According to Deadline, “She has several projects in development over multiple platforms including scripted, unscripted, digital and publishing.” It seems that Carole is going back to her journalism roots. She first began her career at ABC News as an intern for 20/20, then was assigned as a production secretary, which led to her working as a journalist at the network working for Peter Jennings’ documentary unit. She also produced segments for ABC, and won many awards for her stories. Carole holds a B.A. from Hunter College and an M.B.A. from New York University. After her fallout turned feud with former bestfriend, Bethenny Frankel, it was not surprising that Carole is over reality TV and the drama it entails.
Congrats on your new endeavors Carole! It sounds like Carole has a lot of fun projects coming up. It’s going to be interesting without Carole on the RHONY. I’m sure her name will still come up, and hopefully we see her make an appearance down the road on the show. (That probably won’t ever happen until things cool down.) I’m excited to see what next season will bring!
