Jill Zarin is an OG of The Real Housewives of New York. She still makes appearances as a friend of the housewives from time to time. Recently on a new episode of the RHONY, we saw Jill and Bethenny Frankel reunite. Some of the Real Housewives came together to show support for Jill, after the sad passing of her husband, Bobby Zarin. Bravo filmed the funeral, and therefore; we got to be there in spirit. Throughout the seasons of the show, we really got to know Jill and Bobby. It was devastating that he passed due to cancer this past fall. Jill has been staying positive during this difficult time. She’s keeping busy during her time of mourning. A lot of people lately, have been wondering if she’s moving on too fast after the loss of her husband.

Jill fully approved of the way Bravo showed everything. Jill shared on social media, “I just want to let you know that Bravo TV did a beautiful flashback of my marriage to Bobby airing tonight on Bravo TV and covered some of the girls coming to pay respects at the funeral. I am so lucky to have had this once in a lifetime experience and that our love will be forever preserved through the reruns.” She will always have those memories, and the episodes are like her own professional home videos. As far as moving on someday, Jill wrote, “Only time will tell if I will ever find true love again. I hope so. Nothing feels better than being loved by someone unconditionally with all their heart and soul that you can feel their energy across the room. It can happen in an instant or never happen at all.”

At the film premiere of “Gotti” – Jill attended with a new man. According to Page Six, “Guests at the “Gotti” premiere buzzed that Jill Zarin was stepping out with a new man. We’re told her arm candy for the evening was clothing -company exec Gary Brody, but sources say the pair are just pals.” The sources who spotted them at the after party at Tao Downtown, noted that he is quite handsome! Jill’s friends want her to move on. A friend of hers told the outlet, “If she’s dipping a toe in the dating pool again, I think that’s great.” However; Jill didn’t comment on if they are actually dating or if they are simply just friends.

On social media, some people slammed Jill for moving on too quickly and Jill responded in a very mature way. Jill replied, “I appreciate you caring and glad you said this so I can say with no guilt life is for living and Bobby made me promise not to mourn too long and if I happen to meet someone…don’t react out of guilt or anyone’s opinion. No one can understand our relationship and Bobby loved me enough to give me permission as hard as it is to move forward and not in the past. Bobby had been very sick since oct 2016 and it was a daily struggle of managing doctors, medicine and testing. Grueling from side effects. I held his hand and heart from the first day I met him and never looked at anyone else. But now I must move forward.”

Well said, Jill! I completely agree with everything Jill said. I think Bravo did a great job with how everything aired, and it was a touching moment between Jill and some of the other ladies of the cast. Jill has such a history with them. I also agree with Jill’s views on unconditional love. It’s nobody’s business if she’s moving on or not right now. I’m glad she responded to the backlash on social media. If she was on a date for the film premiere, good for her! You go, girl! For the record, I don’t think Jill is jumping into dating. I think she’s taking things slow, day by day. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Jill in the future seasons!
