Vicki Gunvalson is showing off her new digs!
The OG of the OC recently downsized to a smaller home in Coto de Caza, California after selling her iconic Coto home for $3.5 million earlier this month.
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star shared a look inside her empty home on Instagram Stories before starting some renovations on the property.
“This ‘downsizing thing’ is becoming real. Demo and construction starts [on] Monday,” Gunvalson wrote alongside a video.
She also revealed her new kitchen was being completely “gutted.”
“New white cabinets with quartzite counters. Island being turned the other way and new Cantina doors being installed on [the] back wall. All new appliances and fixtures coming,” she wrote.
Days later she shared an update and revealed that renovations were in “full force.”
“Moving in 5 weeks so hopefully most can be done,” she shared on Instagram.
The former Bravo star also revealed that all the bathrooms in the home are being updated and that the master bath is getting a “total renovation.”
“Creating a double vanity with makeup station. Relocating closet door,” she shared.
While Vicki was initially happy about her fresh start and downsizing to a home she later had buyer’s remorse and cried to friend and former co-star Tamra Judge.
“Tamra came over to give me some pep talk because I’m having a little bit of buyer’s remorse,” Vicki confessed in the video.
“It’s not buyers remorse. It’s just so much has gone on in the last year and you’re moving from the house that you lived in forever,” Tamra said.
“22 years,” Vicki explained of how long she lived in her previous Coto home.
“ I raised my kids there,” Vicki said as she began to cry. “It’s hard. I’m trying.”
“Don’t cry,” Tamra told Vicki. “It’s a beautiful house, it’s over a million-dollar house. It’s pretty. It needed to be remodeled; it’s upside down right now but it’s going to beautiful.”
