Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie Osefo are facing serious legal trouble after being arrested in Maryland on Thursday. The couple was indicted by a grand jury for allegedly fabricating a burglary at their home, and now, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Tamra Judge is adding fuel to the fire with a surprising revelation.
According to court records, Wendy Osefo, 41, is facing 16 charges, including making false or misleading statements and fraud. Her husband Eddie, also 41, is facing 18 charges for similar alleged crimes. As of now, attorney information for the couple has not been listed.
The indictment centers around a 2024 burglary report, which prosecutors now allege was staged in an attempt to commit insurance fraud.

On an episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Tamra Judge and co-host Teddi Mellencamp discussed the Osefos’ indictment. During the conversation, Tamra shared that a neighbor of the Osefos reached out to her directly after news of the arrest broke.
“Her neighbor slid into my DM,” Tamra revealed. “Basically, they all got notices on their front door or in their mailbox that there had been a burglary, and it was at Wendy and Eddie’s house. Instantly, the whole entire neighborhood was thinking this is insurance fraud.”
Tamra went on to describe the neighbor’s tone and the atmosphere in the community at the time of the alleged break-in:
“That’s what she said. She goes, ‘We were all saying no way, no way, no way,’ because I don’t know if that area is not known for burglaries, but she is on TV, so that’s a different level, but they all thought something was kind of fishy about it.”
This behind-the-scenes tidbit from Tamra paints a picture of local skepticism, even before charges were formally filed. If true, it suggests the Osefos’ account of the burglary may have raised eyebrows from the start.
