On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Porsha Williams didn’t hold back as she responded to the latest swirl of drama brewing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. With accusations, friendships, and family matters all on the table, Porsha tackled it all with her trademark blend of humor and honesty.
The headline-grabbing moment came when Porsha was asked about Angela Oakley’s claim that she had expressed interest in Angela’s husband, former NBA player Charles Oakley. “Miss Inspector Gadget … First of all, my public apologies,” Porsha began. “But I don’t know Henny-thing that happened. It was a late night Kiki. I don’t know Henny-thing.” She added, “[But] she wasn’t supposed to hear that. Everybody was spilling tea, as you can hear, everybody was spilling tea.”
Beyond that eyebrow-raising moment, Porsha addressed the ongoing chatter about her ex, Dennis McKinley, and fellow cast member Drew Sidora. While rumors have hinted at a closer relationship between Dennis and Drew, Porsha appeared unbothered. “If they have, like I said, as long as she can do baby hair for Pilar, I’m all for it, like, get married … I like Drew. Drew’s a good mother,” she said.
When fellow guest Gizelle Bryant asked whether she really wanted Drew stepping into a parental role, Porsha clarified, “He has his own personal life.”
Still, she suspects there’s more to the story behind the rumors. “I think that they kinda came up with that whole thing. I don’t know if they actually did anything,” Porsha mused. “I think it was a, ‘Let’s surprise Porsha.’ Dennis knows that he can get a reaction out of me, so I think that helped the storyline for her music, maybe.”
Porsha didn’t mince words when it came to Drew’s comment — relayed by Shamea Morton — that her songs would pay for Pilar’s college. “I thought that was cringy. I did. I thought it was cringy,” she said. “Just don’t mention people’s daughters.”
Later in the episode, Charles Oakley came up again when host Andy Cohen referenced his past with another RHOA alum, Sheree Whitfield. Porsha quickly dismissed any idea of a wider dating history. “He dated Sheree, but he married Angela,” she said firmly. “Charles just knows some of the ladies from the show just because he has a big personality, but no, I don’t think he dated any of the Housewives that are on right now.”
From deflecting rumors to defending her family, Porsha brought the energy fans expect — and made it clear she’s always ready for the tea, as long as it’s not served too cold.
