The financial woes of Tom Girardi’s law firm Girardi Keese are bigger than anyone could have ever imagined.

A new report reveals that Tom’s former law firm is more than $100 million in debt.

According to new documents obtained by PEOPLE, the total liabilities for the now-defunct Girardi Keese law firm come in at over $101 million. This amount is roughly $97 million more than the total assets of all listed property owned by the law firm.

The trustee handling Girardi Keese’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case has filed documents to modify the list of the company’s assets and liabilities.

After reviewing the firm’s books and records, the trustee found that “the debtor’s accounting offices were not well maintained” and that “much of what the trustee found upon her appointment was very dated.”

The trustee determined that the total assets in personal property are listed at more than $4.1 million. In addition, the law firm’s assets and liabilities also included various bank accounts, the $25 million given to Erika Jayne’s company, EJ Global LLC, as well as the firm’s various debts.

The documents also noted that the trustee might “not have listed all of the debtor’s causes of action or potential causes of action against third parties as assets.” However, the “actual total may be different than the listed total.”

Tom and his firm’s assets were frozen in December 2020 after he was unable to explain where $2 million earmarked for the victims of the October 2018 plane crash went.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that on August 6, Tom signed an affidavit that he would follow the advice of his attorney and invoke his “constitutional right to stay silent.” A hearing is scheduled for mid-September.

Garcelle Beauvais and Dorit Kemsley found themselves going at each other on this week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The two costars got into a mishap at co-star Lisa Rinna’s Rinna Beauty launch party. On Wednesday’s episode, Dorit confronted Garcelle over perceived “jabs” after she accidentally called new costar Crystal Minkoff by Garcelle’s name.

Dorit confessed that she’s been thinking about how Garcelle’s recent behavior towards her was “bothering” her. The conversation escalated when Garcelle asked Dorit to provide her with examples.

“I feel like the last couple of months, you’ve been making a lot of jabs at me,” Dorit said. “I don’t really know why you’re doing it, but I definitely am noticing it. It doesn’t sit well with me, Garcelle. And I want to know what is going on.”

“It’s surprising,” she added. “It takes me off guard. And the thing is, it’s like [you’re being] a bully.”

Garcelle fired back, “Oh, stop. Stop it right now. I am not bullying you. I don’t bully anybody. You can stop it right now.”

“I don’t have a problem with you, but I feel like whenever we are all having a discussion, you tend to hijack the moment and just go on and on and on and not give anybody a chance to have their say,” she added after Dorit continued to press her.

Kyle Richards, who has had her own issues with Garcelle in the past, chimed in and noted that Garcelle’s way of handling her frustrations could be seen as “passive-aggressive” instead of straightforward.

“F–k you with that. You know exactly what happened in Palm Springs,” Garcelle shot back before storming off while yelling, “F–k you for bringing that up. F–k you. F–k you. F–k you.”

It’s no secret that Teddi Mellencamp’s recent return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rubbed Garcelle Beauvais the wrong way.

On a recent episode of RHOBH, Garcelle called Teddi “annoying” and compared her to a “gnat.” 

“I don’t know; she’s just kind of annoying for no reason like a little gnat,” Garcelle quipped in her confessional.

Teddi fired back at the diss on Instagram by posting a photo of her head photoshopped on the body of a fly.

Well, it turns out there was a lot more to the drama that went down between Garcelle and Teddi that fans didn’t get to see.

On the August 24 episode of her Teddi Tea Pod podcast, Teddi and bestie Kyle Richards dished on the behind-the-scenes drama that allegedly went down on RHOBH.

Teddi claims Garcelle bad-mouthed her to production and questioned her presence at a dinner at Kyle Richards’ home.

“[Beauvais] goes, ‘Why is she even here, and why does she get to have an opinion?’” Teddi said.

A fan then shared Teddi’s claim that she heard Garcelle’s jab on Twitter. This kicked off a she-said, she-said social media fight.

Garcelle tweeted, “Well, that’s not true!” adding, “I said it in front of her while we were filming.”

“I said you said while looking at prod in front of me while filming & I responded ‘Do I need to ask you when I can speak?’” Teddi fired back. “Maybe I should have asked why you text me Happy Bday or about mattresses & agents if you’re so bothered by me. But feed the trolls & thanks for the listeners!”

Another fan then questioned why Teddi was even at the dinner.

“But why were you actually there, though? It made no sense,” the fan asked Teddi, to which she replied, “Y’all say you want ‘reality,’ but when someone who was on the show for three years and has actual friendships with most of the cast shows up to a dinner you question why.”

Sutton Stracke isn’t buying what Erika Jayne is selling.

On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton made it known that she doesn’t believe Erika’s claims that she didn’t know anything about her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal woes.

“I don’t think ignorance is an excuse,” Sutton told co-stars Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, Kathy Hilton, and Crystal Kung Minkoff in a sit-down.

“I just don’t when she’s so smart” she added. “You’ve gotta choose: Are you gonna be smart or are you gonna be blissful?”

She stressed that she doesn’t want to be involved in any of the negative press about Erika and Tom in fear of what it might do to her own reputation.

Later on, Sutton and several of the ladies grilled Erika about the $25 million Tom allegedly put into her company EJ Global. The ladies wondered if Erika knew where the money was coming from. The money was allegedly stolen from Tom’s clients.

“I have several LLCs,” Sutton said. “If that money did go in there, it seems you would notice maybe or question that.”

“I was kept away from the books,” Erika replied.

“Even your own LLCs?” Sutton pressed on. “That would make me insane.”

Erika went on to say that she thinks Tom’s actions could be a result of his declining health. In late 2020, Tom was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimers. He is currently under a conservatorship run by his younger brother, Robert Girardi.

“I think what has happened to Tom here is that he’s not mentally capable, and he’s in sole control of his firm,” she said. “And I think that it got away from him.”
