The drama in the Garden State is heating up as the cameras continue to roll for season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
As we previously reported, Margaret Josephs is set to get exposed during season 13.
Marge’s childhood BFF Laura Marasca Jensen has reportedly plotted with Jennifer Aydin to expose the Macbeth Collection designer.
“RHONJ S13 is almost done filming & there’s a lot going on. One topic being brought up is Margaret’s feud with her childhood bestie, Laura. The original plan was for Margaret to help Laura get on the show, but behind the scenes, she was secretly the one who didn’t get her cast. They are no longer friends, and Laura is ready to expose Margaret as broke & a liar,” a source explained to Deux Moi. “She even called Teresa [Giudice] & Jennifer [Aydin] to meet up with them right before filming started & they did. Marge hates that this is being brought up on the show & is trying to deflect by bringing up Jen’s marriage again.”
“Margaret’s ex-childhood friend is being brought up a lot this season, and she will do anything to deflect from it,” a second insider confirms, adding, “I’ve spoken to this childhood friend of hers and can confirm that she has A LOT in her arsenal of information that the Marge definitely will not want out there.”
After these reports were published, Margaret’s text messages were leaked on social media.
In a group text message, Margaret slammed Laura as a “snake” and a “beast” after she learned her former BFF was trying to get on the show. Initally Marge tried for years to have production cast Laura on the show, but after “countless acts of betrayal,” she no longer wanted her former BFF involved.
“Happy Sunday, everyone I am so sorry to write this, but Laura Jensen, who is on this group text and I have brought into our group, has unfortunately attempted to insert herself in my employment and contacted and met with my cast mates Jennifer Aydin to [undermine] me,” Margaret wrote in the leaked text shared by Deux Moi on Instagram. “If you choose to associate with her, please do not include me. I know this is very Housewives of me, but we should all know when there is a snake in the group, I hope none of you revealed anything to this BEAST.”

After Margaret messaged Deux Moi to clarify some things before urging the outlet to “put up the real truth.”
“Hi, I sent that text to a group with her on it. I’m upfront and have nothing with casting. Unfortunately, I pushed for her for two years; they didn’t want her, so she thought [to] try to be an enemy. Put up the real truth,” Margaret wrote.

Meanwhile, another source claims Marge didn’t like how Laura was introduced on the show.
“She’s really upset about the way the new girl was introduced and how [their] scenes are being filmed. She doesn’t want to be around her. It was weird how they were openly talking about this,” a second insider explained.

If you look at these reports closely, one insider hints that Laura has been filming for season 13 and will have some role on the show. The source also claims that Laura was estranged from the cast on the plane ride back to New Jersey from Dublin. These claims are not confirmed at this point, as pictures from the trip don’t include Laura. It’s unclear if Laura has filmed any scenes for season 13.
RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.
