Multiple sources confirm that RHONJ stars Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice are keeping their distance from each other while filming season 14 of the show.
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are both filming for season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that doesn’t mean the feeding sisters-in-law are in a good place.
In fact, Melissa and Teresa have actively avoided each other while filming together at group events. Teresa and Melissa have filmed together at multiple group events so far, including Dolores Catania’s recent charity baseball game. The RHONJ OG continues to give her sister-in-law and brother, Joe Gorga, the cold shoulder following their fallout during season 13 of the franchise.
“Melissa and Teresa still didn’t speak to each other,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “The rest of the cast was working overtime to go back and forth to talk to both of them and have different conversations with each of them.”
While AllAboutTRH can confirm that Teresa has zero interest in filming with Joe or Melissa, Us Weekly also reports that the On Display podcast host is open to sitting down with Teresa – on camera.
“Melissa is open to filming and talking with Teresa on camera, but Teresa is not,” the insider says. “Producers are trying to capture other stories.”
For season 14 of RHONJ, producers are attempting to take the focus off the drama between Teresa, Joe, and Melissa and instead are trying to focus on the other dynamics within the cast.
“They’re moving on,” the source explains. “They aren’t hyper-fixating on Melissa and Teresa. There has to be other dynamics included in the show.”
At the RHONJ season 13 reunion, Teresa vowed that she was done with Melissa for good, and the OG Housewife “seems to be keeping her word,” according to a source.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, producers are hoping to get the Giudices and the Gorgas together before filming wraps for season 14 of RHONJ. Filming for RHONJ typically goes for three months so production is running out of time to bring the feuding families together on camera.
AllAboutTRH‘s sources say production is losing hope of capturing a sitdown between Teresa, Joe, and Melissa. However, “the good news is so much other drama is happening, but we would like to see Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas reunite.”
Another source tells us that it’s not going to happen as Teresa Giudice is standing firm in her declaration that she wants nothing to do with the Gorgas.
“Teresa is over it. On the other hand, Joe Gorga has had many scenes where he talks about how sad everything has been, while Teresa barely acknowledges anything about the Gorgas during her scenes. Joe Gorga has said he is still upset at Louie Ruelas, this time accusing him of attacking his wife at the season 13 finale party. But Teresa and Louie have zero plans of addressing Joe Gorga, especially after he didn’t go to her wedding and mocked them on social media a day before her big day,” a source reveals.
The next group filming event for season 14 will take place on Saturday at Melissa and Joe Gorga‘s home.
“The next event will be Melissa and Joe Gorga’s housewarming party on Saturday. Everyone was invited with the exception of Teresa Giudice, which is a shocker to no one,” a source exclusively tells AllAboutTRH.
