RHOM’s Larsa Pippen Denies She Rides the Kardashians’ Coattails

Bravoleb Larsa Pippen is over the constant Kardashian digs from her RHOM costars and denies claims she rides the Kardashians’ coattails.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen admits that she is over yet unbothered by the constant Kardashian digs flung at her by her fellow Miami Housewives.

While Larsa Pippen admits that the accusations she rides on the Kardashians‘ coattails can be frustrating, she ultimately brushes them off as she knows how far she’s come without the help of her former uber-famous friends.

“If you know me, you know that for the last 10 years, I’ve been working on my brand and my superstar kids,” she explains. “That’s really where I’ve been. I haven’t been anywhere else or sucking up to anyone else. I’ve always lived in different states. Always had famous friends and always been working to grow and evolve.”

In the RHOM mid-season trailer for season 6, Adriana De Moura threw Larsa’s association with the Kardashians in her face during a fight.

“And you weren’t there, darling. You were in L.A. for 10 years, kissing the Kardashians’ ass. So, shut up!” Adriana screamed, to which Larsa fired back, “You better sit the f— down.”

Larsa tells PEOPLE that Adriana can’t stop bringing up things from the past because she hasn’t changed at all since season one of RHOM back in 2011.

“Adriana is literally the same person she was 13 years ago,” Larsa claims, noting that she understands why Adriana can’t help but speak badly about her past with the Kardashians.

“She says that because she hasn’t evolved,” she explains. “I feel like for me, I’ve evolved and come so far from where I was 13 years ago. So I don’t really pay her or anyone who says that any attention because I feel like I’m really focused on the things that matter, the things that make a difference for me and the people around me.”

Larsa says she stands strong, knowing that she doesn’t “hide in anyone’s shadow” or “tie myself to anyone.” Instead, the RHOM star says she has always “stood on my own two feet.”

“I’m my own person. I feel like I’m good being alone,” she continues. “I’m good.”

Larsa’s friendship with the Kardashians fizzled in 2020, with the Bravo star admitting in a 2020 episode of RHOM that she doesn’t “even know what happened” but noted that she often found herself “stuck in the middle” of Kim Kardashian‘s drama with her now ex-husband, Kanye West.

“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her, and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” Larsa shared in her confessional at the time. “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship. I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.”

RHOSLC Season 4 Reunion Recap – Part 2

The mystery that is Monica Garcia, aka Reality Von Tease, continues to unravel during part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion.

Part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion kicked off with diving deeper into Monica’s family history. Monica explains that her mom abandoned her at the age of 12 to move to New York to pursue a career in television.

This revelation leads Andy Cohen to ask the RHOSLC rookie: “Do you think your mom was auditioning to be a Housewife?”

Monica explains that she thought she bombed her audition for RHOSLC, which is when her mom offered prayers that if she didn’t get the role, she would get it instead. Yikes.

Then Andy dives into the lawsuits, yes, multiple lawsuits. Apparently, after Monica fell down the stairs at Angie Katsanevas‘ house, she threatened online to sue Angie, which Meredith Marks allegedly co-signed.

According to Monica, Meredith told her, “If you want her house, you can have her house.” Meredith denies saying this comment.

Angie then accuses Monica of making a living off of suing people, which offends the RHOSLC newbie. Monica fires back, asking Angie to name people that she’s sued in the past or is currently suing, which is when Heather Gay chimes in.

“You’re suing me,” Heather says, and Monica clarifies that she’s only countersuing her, which doesn’t count.

As for which version of Monica is suing Heather, the RHOSLC newbie explains why she has so many last names. As fans know, Monica went to Heahter’s Beauty Lab and Laser using numerous last names, including Garcia, Darnell, and Fowler.

Monica explains that Darnell is her maiden name while Fowler is her married name. Delgado, on the other hand, is on her father’s side, and Garcia is on her mother’s side. Confusing right?

Mary Cosby then enters the scene. When Andy asks the ladies how they feel about Mary returning to fold for season 4, Heather and Angie say the show needed her and that she brought some much-needed humor and levity to the show. In typical Mary fashion, she snaps at Angie, saying, “Angie, this is your first year; why are you even answering?” without fully grasping that Angie was giving her a compliment.

The conversation then moves to Mary’s drama with Whitney Rose, who admits she had hoped to patch things up with Mary while filming season 4 of RHOSLC, but that didn’t happen. Whitney apologizes for calling Mary a “predator” during season 2 of RHOSLC.

As Andy runs through a myriad of tweets sent out by the ladies of Salt Lake City, Andy addresses one tweet in which Mary calls Whitney “racist” due to her growing up in the LDS Church. Andy is confused, so he turns to Heather to explain. Heather explains the LDS’ racist history and notes that “Mormon doctrine is rooted in racism.” While Whitney agrees, Lisa denies the claim, which leads to Heather noting that the modern-day Mormon Church is making efforts to right those wrongs.

Before Mary exits the reunion, Andy asks Mary her feelings about Monica’s Reality Von Tease Instagram account. Mary says she thought the finale episode was over the top. She added that she didn’t know about the account, so she didn’t care about it.

“Would you care if that account called you a dumb bitch?” Lisa asks as Heather whips out a recording of Monica bad-mouthing Mary. Monica insists that the comment was taken out of context. Mary seems to check out as Monica and the other ladies go back and forth.

Monica then reveals that Reality Von Tease is run by six people as Heather claims that an investigation is currently underway into the account and everyone who was behind it.

Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Kyle Richards Admits her Comment on Dating Women Was for ‘Shock Value’

Kyle Richards is coming clean about her recent eye raising comments on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. 

On last Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Kyle turned heads when she admitted that she’d be open to dating women. 

The RHOBH OG caused quite the stir when she revealed to her fellow Beverly Hills Housewives that she would be open to dating women during a lunch in Ojai to celebrate Annemarie Wiley’s birthday.

Kyle Richards‘ confession came about as Bravo’s first ladies of Beverly Hills played a raunchy card game during lunch. During the game Kyle asked: “Would you ever date a woman?”

The question shocked everyone, with Dorit Kemsley quipping: “Where the hell did that come from?” Sutton Stracke, on the other hand, noted, “That’s a weird question to ask randomly.”

While Sutton says she’d never, Garcelle Beauvais admits she’s definitely considered it.

“You know, there are times I think about it. If I’m going to be honest,” Garcelle confessed.

Crystal Minkoff then turns the tables and asks the RHOBH OG, “Would you?”

“Yeah, maybe,” Kyle Richards replied, which further shocked the ladies of RHOBH, specifically Dorit and Garcelle.

Garcelle noted that just a few years ago, Kyle told the ladies of RHOBH that she had “never done the girl thing,” so it was surprising to hear changing her tune all of the sudden.

“Kyle, a few years ago, was like shocked we that we would have threesomes or talk about making out with women,” Garcelle explained in her confessional. “And now she’s open to a relationship with a woman? I don’t know much, but I think there’s a country song somewhere in there.”

Kyle’s admission shocked the women of RHOBH and Bravo fans due her “friendship” with country singer Morgan Wade. In recent months, there has been speculation that Kyle and Morgan are more than friends amid Kyle’s separation from her husband Maurico Umansky.

Now, Kyle explains that she made those comments to rattle and  poke fun at the preconceived notions her cast mates have had about her in the past. 

“You know what, two reasons I said that,” she explained on the RHOBH After Show. “A, for shock value. B, because I’m at a place in my life where, I don’t know. I have zero judgment. Do you think I would ever get a tattoo before? So I was like, ‘Who am I to say? I don’t know!’ I’m not judging anything. Like, who knows? Whatever!”

The RHOBH OG explains that these days she’s more “open-minded.” In fact, Kyle shares that she wants to wipe “everything clean” and start fresh when it comes to everything in her life, including her beliefs on things.

The 55-year-old also admits that she regrets putting the spotlight on Morgan yet again with her comment. 

“[Morgan] just wants to make music and all of a sudden she was thrust into this world of gossip and tabloids and traveling and having paparazzi take pictures of her,” Kyle said during on Amazon Live.

“She just doesn’t like any of that,” Kyle continued. “She just wants to make music and all of a sudden I had a lot of guilt, you know, that I put her in this position.” 

“Of course I feel bad because it gave her anxiety, you know? See these headlines, and like I said, just thrust into the spotlight brought her anxiety.” 

She concluded, “Like myself, she suffers from anxiety so I felt terrible to have put her in that position.” 

Kyle and Morgan sparked dating rumors over the summer as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was spotted spending more and more time with the country singer and less time with her husband, Mauricio Umansky.

Morgan’s debut appearance on season 13 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills only sparked more questions about her relationship with Kyle as the RHOBH OG tattooed a “K” on her arm.

The two have continued to deny that they are dating but are inseparable and have matching tattoos and rings.

Kyle Richards Says Dorit ‘Exaggerated’ the Closeness of Their Friendship

Kyle Richards comes clean about her friendship with Dorit Kemsley and her claims about how close they are and how often they traveled together, outside of RHOBH, over the years.

Following the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly, Kyle Richards admitted that her friendship with Dorit Kemsley wasn’t as deep as the Beverly Beach designer has made it out to be. 

On episode 9 of season 13, Dorit claimed that she and Kyle Richards no longer go on vacations with their husbands like they used to.

Dorit said: “Kyle and I used to go away once or twice, even more, a year. Now, I’m not invited on any of Kyle’s trips.”

According to Kyle Richards, Dorit’s comments about their friendship on RHOBH were “exaggerated.”

On her Amazon Live, the RHOBH veteran commented on Dorit’s claims that they used to regularly travel together before Kyle became friends with country singer Morgan Wade. 

“It shows a trip that we went on once, PK, Dorit, and me and Mau. The four of us with our kids,” Kyle said of Dorit’s claims that they used to go on trips together all the time. 

“And then they show another trip. It’s from the show. I’m sorry. I love Dorit but you’re showing a trip from the show. Let’s not exaggerate the situation.” 

She continued, “My point is, you’re trying to make it seem lie I do all the trips without her now. There’s one trip that we actually did as couples -ever. She said ‘We used to go on trips together.’ Not to be shady. We’ve only gone on one trip together as a couple that I can recall, Mau, Dorit, PK, and me.”

“We did do Vegas together, that’s true, and then we’ve been in London at the same time, but that was just flat-out an exaggeration,” Kyle Richards added of Dorit’s comments.

“Some of the cast was like, ‘All these trips we weren’t included in…’ [and] it was that one trip that we posted a number of photos [from] that they just keep talking about,” Kyle quipped. “One trip they said was Italy, it was still the same trip in Mexico. All these trips I went on and the girls talk about this season, it was the one trip, which makes me laugh a lot.”

The RHOBH OG then addressed a fan’s comment that perhaps Dorit just “misses” her. 

“Yes, but also she lives right down the street and can call me to make a plan too,” Kyle Richards explained. “I love Dorit but sometimes things are exaggerated and it’s frustrating.” 

Meanwhile, on the RHOBH After Show, Dorit admits that she wishes “Kyle hadn’t pulled away from me” while building stronger friendships with Morgan, Teddi Mellencamp, and the other women in their friend group, who often travel together.

“The reunion was very, very hard for Kyle. I guess I just thought that she would have a couple of months where she withdraws but those couple of months ended up being a lot longer and it very much felt like there was distance between us,” Dorit explained to co-star Crystal Minkoff. “That upset me and I was experiencing that I was seeing via social media who she was spending her time with.”

“They’ve gotten so close,” Dorit said of Kyle and Morgan’s friendship. “Morgan has surpassed my closeness with Kyle. Obviously, selfishly, from my stand point [it’s shocking].”

RHOM’s Larsa Pippen Says She and Marcus Have Sex ‘5 Times a Night;’ Reveals She Froze Her Eggs ‘Just in Case’

RHOM star Larsa Pippen makes a shocking sex confession; claims she and boyfriend Marcus Jordan have sex “5 times a night.” Plus, Larsa reveals she froze her eggs “just in case.”

Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has never been shy about oversharing details of sex life.

Previously, at the Real Housewives of Miami reunion, Larsa Pippen told Andy Cohen that she and ex-husband, Scottie Pippen had sex “four times a night, every night” during their nineteen year marriage.

“I never had a night off for 23 years,” the RHOM star quipped.

Now, in another conversation with Andy on Watch What Happens Live, Larsa reveals that she and her boyfriend Marcus Jordan go even harder in the bedroom than she did with her ex.

“I also have sex probably five times a night with the love of my life,” Larsa confessed.

Marcus added: “I’m very competitive so I like to stay ready… Especially with Larsa as my partner, absolutely.”

Meanwhile, Larsa tells Us Weekly that she’s keeping an open mind about possibly welcoming a baby with Marcus in the future.

“I’m really happy with my four kids, but I feel like it wouldn’t be fair for me to not give Marcus that opportunity if we wanted to have kids [together],” the RHOM star admitted on January 11. “So, I do have a little insurance policy in a freezer in L.A. just in case.”

She admitted that her “favorite title is to be a mom” to sons Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, and Justin, 18, and daughter Sophia, 15 that she shares with her ex-husband.

“I love being a mom,” she added. “I love my kids so much.”

Larsa and Marcus have been dating since 2022 and have already discussed their future together which involves saying ‘I do’ eventually.

According to the Bravo star Marcus already has a great relationship with her children.

“I feel like he’s actually closer to my boys than he is with Sophia,” she explained. “They just have so much in common with basketball and just helping guide them and when it comes down to [being] sneakerheads. And my kids love asking him for advice on shoes and clothes and all that good stuff.”

While Larsa and Marcus aren’t rushing down the aisle, the RHOM couple recently revealed on WWHL that Marcus did give Larsa a “promise ring” and that they have been “shopping” around for engagement rings.

“We’ve been shopping. You know we’ve been ruling out certain stones and are moving in that direction obviously. It’s in the works,” Marcus told Andy.

The 33-year-old also insisted that his father, NBA superstar, Michael Jordan, would be “supportive” of him marrying Larsa.

“He’s super supportive of whoever I date and has never really been involved in my personal life to that degree but he wants to see me happy so he supports it.”

The 49-year-old said she is “comfortable” with where her and Marcus’ relationship currently stands.

“I like being married,” she told Us Weekly. “I feel like I like having a partner, someone you can grow with, someone you can build with. I definitely like that feeling.”

As for why their relationship works so well, Larsa points out that she and Marcus were “best friends” before they began dating.

“We saw each other at a party, and we did kind of look at each other. We were intrigued by each other, but we were just friends for a long time,” she said. “We ended up exchanging numbers and we spoke for three years just as friends. He would FaceTime me when I would be on dates. I would FaceTime him when he was [on dates]. We were just friends.”

Brandi Glanville Says She’s Been Denied a Facelift Amid Facial Disfigurement

Brandi Glanville is opening up about her facial disfigurement saga and a recent twist in her healing process. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been left disfigured from stress-induced angioedema, which is a condition that causes swelling under the skin. All of this stems from the stress caused by Caroline Manzo‘s claims that Brandi Glanville inappropriately touched her while filming season 4 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in January 2023. 

Brandi Glanville recently told Entertainment Tonight that her lips and face first began swelling up in August. 

“I’ve had some health issues that have affected my ability to talk, my ability to taste food. My face basically would swell up -like I would…go into anaphylactic shock constantly, and I saw seven doctors and their answer to it was stress-induced angioedema.” 

By October, Brandi was hospitalized as her health continued to deteriorate. However, now she’s looking forward to a fresh start in 2024 – both emotionally and physically.

“I was on the phone with Andy Cohen… and I was just given some very disappointing news and I couldn’t take it,” she told ET. “The stress just, my eyes swelled shut, my hands [blew up]. I laid down before I fell down, but an ambulance came and I spent two days in the hospital, trying to figure out what’s wrong.”

“It’s affected every aspect of my life,” she continued. “My boyfriend and I broke up. I can’t pucker my top lips still, because it swelled up so much… it would swell up and go down, swell up and go down. … And now, I can’t kiss. It is hard to talk because the inside of my mouth gets swollen.”

“I’m not the same anymore right now. Everyone’s like, ‘You look great,’ I’m like, ‘I don’t feel like I should feel, I don’t look the way I used to look,’ “ Brandi admits.

“I just want to be healthy. I have taken my health for granted. I cried on my birthday. It was on November 16th. I cried the whole night and I thought that was my new normal. I was just never gonna look the same or feel the same. I was just gonna be this giant pumpkin head and like my mouth even now I get tired of talking. So, I didn’t do my podcast for several months because I would just have to stop talking and take breaks. It’s insane. I took my health for granted.”

Speaking of the drama that caused her stress-induced angioedema, Brandi Glanville denies that she acted “unacceptable” towards Caroline. She also denies the accusations that she inappropriately touched the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG and says she has been advised by Bravo to keep quiet about the incident.

Since her name has yet to be cleared by Bravo, Brandi has fired legal representation and accuses RHUGT’sproducers of fostering an unsafe work environment, fueled by excessive alcohol consumption that was encouraged by those in charge. 

Brandi has dubbed RHUGT as the “wild west” noting that it is challenging to work long hours, fueled by booze. 

The fate of season 4 of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip remains up in the air despite Andy Cohen claiming at BravoCon that the season will air. 

“I think the Girls Trips shows are the wild west. They don’t know what they’re doing yet. We can’t work 19-hour days and be fueled with alcohol all day,” Brandi Glanville said. 

She continued, “They don’t force you but they want you to and you want to please producers. I think that you know when we’re all exhausted and we’re doing 20 events a day working 19 hours, fully wasted [that] it’s not a safe environment for any of us an that’s what the Girls Trips are.” 

“I just want it to air so I can move on with my life,” Brandi Glanville added. “Nothing happened, that’s all I can really say. This false narrative has been going on for 10 months. It’s been the worst year of my life. Worse than my divorce.”

The Bravolebrity went public with her diagnosis after fans began attacking her appearance on social media and accusing her of having too much plastic surgery and/or fillers. 

Now, Brandi is opening up about a devastating twist in her facial disfigurement saga.

On the January 11 episode of her podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, Brandi explained that she is not a candidate for a face lift due to her stress-induced angioedema. 

“Now that the swelling is going down…I’m trying to figure out, with a doctor, trying to figure out how for my skin to be tight again [because] there’s certain areas that just won’t ever [bounce back]. A very established doctor told me that I am not a candidate because my skin is very tight.”

She also detailed that during the height of her battle with stress-induced angioedema her “tongue started to swell up and I couldn’t speak. And I was spitting, and I didn’t have control.”

Candiace Dillard Reacts to the Sexual Assault Confessions Made on This Week’s Episode of RHOP

Candiace Dillard is speaking out after the most recent episode of RHOP, which aired on Sunday and not surprisingly she has quite a bit to say.

While Candiace Dillard has yet to watch Sunday’s episode of RHOP, the 37-year-old Bravoleb sounded off on the difficult subject matter featured in the episode. 

During Sunday’s episode of RHOP, several ladies of Potomac, including Candiace Dillard, discussed how they had been sexually assaulted and/or abused in their younger years. 

Candiace, Robyn Dixon, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, and Mia Thornton all admitted to being sexually assaulted and/or abused as young women or children during  Karen’s event for the nonprofit group PAVE.

“I had an experience when I was a teenager. I was unable to give consent. At the time, I didn’t really realize what …the severity of what had happened,” Robyn Dixon said in her confessional interview. 

“I didn’t even realize that what had happened to me was what it was until, like, years later,” Candiace Dillard admitted.

In her own confessional, Ashley Darby said, “It’s very triggering for me because of my own experiences that I had at the hands of a family member, and the saddest thing is to know that it’s happening now. It’s so prevalent. It is heartbreaking.”

“At the end of the day, we have a lot in common. It does not surprise me that in this very, very room, we have women who have been sexually assaulted, and thank God they feel safe enough to share their truth,” Karen said in her RHOP confessional.

While Robyn, Karen, and Ashley had previously either admitted to their abuse or alluded to it on past seasons of RHOP. However, this was the first time that Candiace and Mia had opened up about being sexually assaulted. 

Following Sunday’s episode Candiace took to Twitter to share her thoughts. 

According to Candiace, she found the episode “triggering” and admitted she is “tired” of watching “a woman, who accused someone of sexual assault speaking about sexual assault.” 

Candiace wrote: 

“It’s triggering to watch a woman who accused someone of sexual assault speaking about sexual assault. I’m tired. I’m actually very tired. A Thread. 

Full context: I have seen the episode yet, but I saw the clip of some of us speaking about our personal experiences with SA. I’m grateful to those in our friend group who were courageous enough to share their story.

I also read some of the comments, and as horrifying and embarrassing and frightening as it can be to talk about your own experience, I’m grateful that based on the comments that I’ve read, that “shattering the silence” can liberate some of you.

It’s also liberating for me to know that I’m not an alien in my personal story of what happened to me. So, thank you.”

The longtime RHOP star then took aim at those who lie and manipulate scenarios to “insinuate that anyone sexually assaulted them.” 

She continued: 

“People who manipulate words and blatantly miss use the English language to insinuate that anyone sexually assaulting them is criminal.

[To say] ‘He made me go into a hotel room’ [is] yet another iteration of SA insinuations. That she would not sit and speak as if she is an advocate for sexual assault awareness is morally corrupt and criminal. 

I’m triggered and I’m tired. I’m tired and I’m not allowing it to slide or slip through the cracks #RHOP.”

Viewers were shocked to find out that Monica Garcia was behind the Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease and now her former circle is exposing her.

Speaking to Monica Garcia‘s former best friend of over 10 years, the friend who wanted to remain anonymous but showcased proof of their friendship says that Monica Garcia has allegedly committed illegal crimes and has had multiple affairs.

The friend reveals, “Monica and I had so many ups and downs due to money. She was always asking me for money and when I wouldn’t give it to her, she attempted to blackmail me which put a huge strain on our friendship. We tried to get back to a good place after that but we never could.”

She also clarifies whether or not Jen Shah ever paid Monica Garcia, saying, “Brie (her oldest daughter) was legally adopted by Mike (Monica’s ex husband) the other three girls are Mikes. Monica and I have always been fans of the RH franchise and we watched the premier of season 1 together and she looked at me and said, ‘Watch me. I’m going to be on this show someday.‘ Then in October 2020 Monica started “working for Jen.”

The only payment Monica ever received from her was $2500 so her car wouldn’t be repossessed, an Apple Watch and a fake Louis Vuitton bag, (she asked me for the $2500 and I told her no due to her lack of repayment when I’ve loaned her money in the past.)”

This aligns with what Murilo Bueno – Jen Shah’s former assistant told the AllAboutTRH podcast last week. While speaking with the AllAboutTRH podcast, Murilo revealed that Jen Shah gave Monica Garcia $2,500 but confirmed that she never worked for the now incarcerated former Salt Lake City Housewife.

Monica’s former friend also revealed that the RHOSLC rookie had multiple affairs on her ex-husband, Mike, saying, “Monica talks about being open and honest but she’s only open and honest about certain things. She only talks about the 1 affair with Jared, and doesn’t mention the other 3 she had.”

That’s not all. The friend also provides further insight into the Jen Shah camera scandal, which is the initial video that blew up Monica’s troll account, Reality Von Tease.

The friend explains Monica’s alleged illegal involvement, “you know the leaked videos of Jen Shah throwing a tantrum and screaming at her then designer Khoa? (Who’s now living rent free in Monica’s house in exchange for his designs)

Monica was the one who leaked those videos of Jen yelling at Khoa. And guess how Monica had access to the video? When Jen got on the show Monica suggested she install security cameras. When Vivint showed up to install, Jen wasn’t home so they set all the cameras up to Monica’s phone! So even after Monica stopped working for her, she would log in and watch what was going on in her house!

At the end of her relationship with Jen, I think she looked at it as she wanted to do anything she could to make a name for herself, and she willingly contacted the authorities to let them know what information she had against Jen. Monica had a plan this whole time.”

RHOSLC’s Monica Garcia Exposes Real Reason For Divorce

RHOSLC star Monica Garcia reveals that the real reason behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Mike, was domestic violence. Get all the deets!

Monica Garcia aired most of her dirty laundry throughout her debut season on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. 

Within the first few episodes of season 4 of RHOSLC, Monica admitted to co-star Heather Gay that she was excommunicated from the Mormon Church after having an 18-month-long affair with her brother-in-law, Jared Taylor, a 42-year-old fire chief from Ogden, Utah.

Monica and Jared’s affair took place from 2010 to 2011.

The 40-year-old had an affair with the man married to her now ex-husband’s sister. Complicated right? 

During part one of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion, Monica shed more light on her affair while admitting the responses she received from Bravo fans ranged from harsh criticism to admiration for her honesty.

Monica explained that her affair happened over ten years ago. While her RHOSLC castmates were “wonderful” towards her after learning about her affair, the same can’t be said for fans who attacked her on social media.

“As far as everybody here, especially Heather, have had very deep conversations about that and how painful that was for me. And you guys were actually wonderful. It wasn’t about bragging or not taking accountability. Right. I don’t think taking accountability means self-shame and self-hanging for the rest of my life,” Monica said. “I was excommunicated. I bore the scarlet letter. I still do. I was rebaptized. I went through the whole rebaptism process in the church.”

“I’m reliving it. Like, I’m constantly being called a whore online; my comments are nasty. Like, it’s wild,” she added.

After part one of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion aired on Tuesday, January 9, Monica took to Instagram to shed more light on her divorce from her ex-husband, Mike. 

On Instagram, Monica explained that domestic violence was the reason for her divorce, not her affair. 

“I haven’t wanted to post about this because I already know what the comment section is going to say and how nasty people can be and have been on my page. However, if this helps one person out there to feel seen and give them any kind of comfort, hope, or support then it is worth it to me. National Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-799-7233. I am sending love to all of those affected by domestic violence #rhoslc,” Monica captioned her Instagram post.   

The RHOSLC rookie explained that her ex “was arrested a couple of times for domestic violence on me in front of our girls and violations of protective orders.” 

She added that she hoped to “bring awareness” to these issues on RHOSLC. 

“I had hoped to speak about it on the show to help better explain why things are the way they are in my life currently,” Monica explained. “To bring awareness to women dealing with this issue and to help them see that they are not alone.” 

However, Monica says she never got the chance to have that discussion on camera. 

On Instagram, Monica shared:

“I have received several questions about my divorce. Yes, the affair happened over a decade ago. No, that is not the reason for our divorce. I understand you all having questions and trying to figure out the reason for the divorce now. I have debated answering this publicly or not.

However, when I did apply to be on the show, I had planned on bringing awareness to this subject and speaking about it openly. Another subject, which was discussed several times, along with others, that wasn’t shown in the email that was shown on last night’s episode. The reason for our divorce was because of domestic violence. My ex was arrested a couple times for domestic violence on me in front of our girls and violations of protective orders. I had hoped to speak about it on the show to help better explain why things are the way they are in my life currently. To bring awareness to women dealing with this issue and to help them see that they are not alone. I hope anyone going through this issue knows that I am with you. I hope you see that you can move on from this horrible situation and begin to give your children a better life away from those circumstances. That there is life after abuse, that it wasn’t your fault, and that you have tribes of people ready to carry you through.”

Monica and Mike tied the knot in 2009. Four years later, Monica filed for divorce; however, she and Mike eventually reconciled. In June of 2023, Monica filed for divorce for the second time.

The RHOLSC star finalized her divorce from Mike on October 24.

In the divorce, Monica Garcia was awarded sole legal and physical custody of daughters Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, 7, and Kendall, 6. Mike was also ordered to pay the RHOSLC star $2,636 a month in child support and $4,000 a month in alimony.

Mike must pay child support until each child reaches the age of 18. He must also pay alimony “until June 2037, or until other circumstances occur,” such as Monica remarrying or cohabitating with another partner.

The 40-year-old was also given “exclusive use and possession of” the couple’s $424,000 ranch-style home in Kaysville, Utah. Monica will have to pay her ex $130,000 for his share of the equity in the property. Per records, Monica and Mike still owe $168,000 on the property.

Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

RHOBH: Dorit Admits She’s Unsure About Future of Her Marriage as PK Calls Her PTSD ‘Obnoxious’

On Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley, had a real and raw conversation about their relationship.

The marriage of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple Dorit Kemsley and Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley is on shaky ground because of the 47-year-old’s PTSD after surviving a 2021 home invasion. 

On the latest episode of RHOBH, PK admitted that he’s still struggling to understand parts of Dorit’s PTSD. 

“There are elements I understand. There are also elements that I don’t consider are PTSD –– I don’t. I consider they’re more obnoxious,” PK told Dorit on Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH.

The couple sat down with their therapist to discuss the “severity” of Dorit’s PTSD. During the sit-down, PK asked, “The reality is, when does high maintenance blend with PTSD?”

“When I first met Dorit, she was this bubbly, enthusiastic, beautiful girl, and she was not quite as high maintenance as she is now,” PK added in his confessional interview.

Meanwhile, Dorit admitted in her own confessional interview that she used to love and appreciate how “he could let go of things so easily,” yet over the “last few years, he’s definitely gotten more harsh with me, a little mean sometimes.”

Dorit called out PK for “reaching” with his claims that elements of her PTSD are “obnoxious.” 

As for PK, he denied he was exaggerating and insisted he was simply “trying to understand” what his wife was going through. 

“We’re talking about specifically certain triggers,” Dorit said. “It’s like I’m a totally new person, and I can’t do anything about it. Do you have any idea how difficult that is and what it’s like to live with that?”

The RHOBH star confessed that she has struggled with PK not being there for her both physically and emotionally since the 2021 home invasion. 

Dorit notes that she wants PK to “comfort” her more when she’s “having an episode.” 

“In a marriage, these are the times that truly test your relationship,” Dorit explained in her confessional. “This particular bad time where I need PK, and it’s not the other way around, he’s coming up really short.”

However, PK opened up about the “pressures” of juggling all the many aspects of his life and admitted his inability to “balance it as well as I should.” 

“We need to keep each other happy, and we need to sometimes be wrong, which has always been a challenge for Dorit,”  he added in his confessional, noting that his and Dorit’s marital issues aren’t “a one-sided thing.” 

While chatting with their therapist, PK got emotional when asking Dorit to “give me a chance to understand” her PTSD. He also asked his wife to “articulate it just a little bit calmer” and be “a little bit less irritated” by his questions. 

“I’m not seeking to irritate you; I’m seeking to understand you,” he told Dorit. “It makes me emotional because you know I’m OK with it. It’s very difficult, when you love someone, to listen to how much pain you’re in.”

Dorit then comforted PK but emphasized in her confessional that she still needs her husband to “want to be there for me” in order for their marriage to “succeed.” 

If PK can’t do that, Dorit admits that she doesn’t know “what the future holds” for their marriage.

This scene was filmed just months before the RHOBH couple publicly denied that they were separating. Despite the denial, Dorit and PK fessed up to enduring “challenging years” in their marriage. 

 “We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” the RHOBH couple told PEOPLE in October.

“We are focused on healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage. … We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family.”

Dorit has previously been vocal about how she and PK’s marriage suffered after PK failed to give her the support she needed after being held at gunpoint during a 2021 robbery at their Encino home.
