“There’s still no trace of cancer,” she confirmed. “But I’m still considered stage four and I’m still in immunotherapy, so essentially nothing’s changed other than I still, I don’t feel great. I would hope that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don’t.”
That distinction matters. While the cancer is currently undetectable, Teddi is still in active treatment. Immunotherapy isn’t a victory lap — it’s exhausting, long-term maintenance, and it comes with serious physical and emotional side effects. She’s in remission territory, but not in the “life back to normal” stage people imagine.
Teddi also admitted that the emotional fallout from the past year is catching up with her in ways she didn’t expect.
“I also didn’t properly process all of the things that happened when I had surgery,” she explained. “From my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery. Then not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now. I started doing therapy, and so it’s taken its toll on me.”
In other words: the body might be healing, but the trauma hasn’t caught up yet.
Her clarification reveals a reality we don’t talk about enough with cancer survivors — remission doesn’t magically erase the psychological aftermath. Teddi went from divorce stress to emergency brain surgery to months of recovery in what feels like a blink. Now that the immediate crisis has passed, her nervous system is finally catching up.
And that’s what her dad was reacting to. A father watching his daughter struggle emotionally. Not a secret relapse.
It’s a reminder that recovery isn’t linear. Teddi isn’t battling active tumors right now — but she’s still fighting to feel like herself again.

Alex McCord is officially back in the Bravo universe, and she’s opening up about unfinished business, healing old wounds, and why her long-lost Ultimate Girls Trip experience meant more than fans ever realized.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star joined Andy Cohen and John Hill on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live to promote her return on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, and the conversation quickly turned emotional as Andy brought up the Morocco installment of Ultimate Girls Trip — the one that famously never aired.
Andy admitted one of his biggest disappointments about the shelved season was that fans never got to see Alex shine in that setting.
“One of the reasons I’m so glad you’re back here shooting this is you were so good on the Ultimate Girls Trip Morocco, which hasn’t seen the light of day,” Andy told her. “One of the reasons that I’m disappointed in that is that you’re so great for a whole lot of reasons on that show.”
Alex revealed that going into that trip, she was nervous — but it ended up being a turning point for her emotionally.
“That was a great experience,” Alex shared. “I remember being really sort of freaked out about it and like, ‘What’s this going to be like?’ And, you know, how sometimes you just have to take a flying leap off a cliff? I thought, ‘All right, I’m doing this.’ And it was great.”
She explained that the trip played a role in helping her process some of the negativity she experienced earlier in her Housewives journey.
“It was probably part of the whole healing of what the negative stuff was at the beginning,” she said. “I’m like, ‘This is actually a lot of fun.’”
Andy added that before filming, he tried to encourage Alex to simply relax and enjoy the experience.
“I remember emailing you. I go, ‘All you have to do is go on vacation and have fun. Like take the trust fall,’” he recalled.
The conversation then shifted to Alex’s unique place in Housewives history — including how she was ahead of her time with rewatch content and calling out production long before it became the norm.
Andy pointed out that Alex was one of the first Housewives to leave her show and then start publicly rewatching and analyzing episodes — something that’s now standard across podcasts and social media.
“You were the precursor to every podcast that’s out now,” Andy said. “You were kind of sometimes calling bullshit on production, which we didn’t love, but it’s done all the time now.”
Andy also reflected on the emotional aftermath of Alex and her husband Simon van Kempen leaving RHONY — and how Simon, in particular, took a lot of heat from viewers.
“There was a lot of emotion, I think, from Simon when he left the show and from all of us,” Andy said. “I think he felt a little burned by it.”
Alex confirmed that Simon struggled with the backlash and that she fully supported his feelings at the time.
“He got a lot of hate on the show,” she explained. “So I get it, and I fully supported his feelings.”

Jeff Lewis is owning his reputation, and it sounds like his new production team isn’t exactly thrilled about it.
On a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, the Bravo star revealed that Alex Baskin’s production company, 32 Flavors, has labeled him the “most difficult talent” they’re currently working with. And according to Jeff, he’s not just a little difficult — he’s allegedly surpassed everyone else by a wide margin.
“32 Flavors said that I am by far the most difficult talent that they’re working with,” Jeff shared on air. “And it used to be Dorit, by the way, allegedly.”
“But they said I’m miles ahead of her,” he added, making it clear that he’s now taken the top spot.
The comment came up while Jeff was discussing his upcoming Bravo return, Still Flipping Out (working title), which was officially announced at BravoCon 2025. The new series will mark Jeff’s first Bravo show since Flipping Out ended and will follow his life across radio, design, and personal relationships.
According to Bravo’s announcement, the series will lean heavily into Jeff’s trademark personality:
“In his new Bravo series, Jeff Lewis is as outspoken as ever, but this time the mic is always on. Lewis navigates the hilariously unpredictable nature of his professional and personal lives as his trademark spontaneity collides with the people who work with him, for him and still somehow survive him. Jeff Lewis can still flip out when he wants to, and he calls that personal growth.”
During the radio show, guest Tamra Judge even jumped in to confirm whether Alex Baskin had actually said it.
“Did Alex tell you that?” Tamra asked.
Jeff didn’t deny it — but he also explained why he believes he’s earned that reputation.
“Alex and Jenn Levy,” Jeff said, before defending himself. “But here’s the thing: it’s because I push back, I negotiate, I protect my people.”
