Reality TV star Teresa Giudice is finally setting the record straight — and she’s not holding back. In a candid and revealing episode of her podcast Turning the Tables, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum addressed the swirling rumors about her taxes, financial team, and behind-the-scenes drama that fans have been buzzing about for weeks.

“There’s been a lot being said lately and I get it,” Teresa began. “Some of it is from years ago and being pulled into the present. I’ve made changes to my team to make sure everything is being taken care of properly.”

She acknowledged the complexity of tax-related matters and emphasized that resolution doesn’t happen overnight. “Anyone that’s ever dealt with tax related issues knows it’s not something that gets resolved overnight. It’s a long process, but I’m confident in the people around me now and I am focused on all the opportunities ahead.”

Teresa also reflected on her own learning curve, saying, “And even if I want to get things done quickly, it’s a process, you know, it is, this is what I’ve learned, like it’s a process and if for it to be done correctly.”

Addressing the buzz about her team, Teresa didn’t mince words. “I’m dealing with things by myself. Listen I’m a big girl. I’m taking care of it. And unfortunately, I did make changes to my team because I thought it was being handled the right way. And I hired now top-notch people, top notch accounting firms.”

Taking ownership of past missteps, she added, “Again, I’m taking accountability. I hired this new accounting firm that I know they’re going to come through. And I just want to tell people out there, just make sure you hire the right people.”

In an honest reflection on the challenges of her industry, Teresa warned, “I know sometimes you trust people. I mean, look at, look at, I just, it’s in this, in this business that I’m in, it’s very shady. Like this business is a shady business. You have to be really, really careful. And I just want to put it out there. Like if you have a gut feeling about something, go with your gut feeling.”

She made it clear she isn’t trying to evade responsibility: “I’m not trying to run away from anything. I want, of course I pay my taxes. I want to pay my taxes. I want to do everything right. I want to cross every T dot every I.”

Teresa closed with a grounded message about trust and resilience. “But unfortunately, sometimes you trust people. You know, like you said, the industry is toxic and even sometimes good people slip into doing bad things. I think it gets the best of people, you know. Shit happens in life, but it’s all how you deal with it. And it’s all how, you know, if you get knocked down, you just got to pick yourself right back up and keep going, you know.”

And that’s why I chose to end the call,” Teresa said. “At this point in my life, if I feel like I am not happy with something, I’m gonna walk away.”

Critics questioned why she didn’t end the call sooner, to which she responded: “My phone was this way. I turned it the right way. And I hung up the phone. I wasn’t like, oh my God, like frazzled or anything. Because I already knew what he was trying to do. And I just wasn’t giving him this.”

For Teresa, the issue wasn’t just about an uncomfortable question—it was about professionalism and respect. “There’s power in removing yourself from a situation because it’s like either you can see what path it’s going down,” she said. “You quickly realize, okay, he’s not here to let me do my job, which is to promote the show. She pointed out that local news should be about connection and community—not confrontation. “Why would you not want to provide a platform that anyone would want to come and feel safe to have a discussion?” Teresa asked. “It’s local news, like to promote things, because we’re gonna be in Chicago… If they would love to come and see me, I would love to see them.”

Reflecting on the experience, Teresa also revealed she’d heard of similar treatment toward other guests. “I heard he did the same thing to Tom Sandoval. There’s no need to attack people. It’s like, be nice in this world, you know?”
