“I, in my life, had never contemplated not wanting to be here,” Brandi admitted in a new interview with InTouch, describing moments where she felt overwhelmed to the point of suicidal thoughts. The implants, she said, had been leaking silicone into her body and clogging her lymph nodes — a condition she believes could have turned life-threatening if left untreated. She underwent emergency surgery earlier this month to remove them.

The stress compounded an already brutal year. Brandi says she withdrew from friends, isolated herself, and felt trapped in a cycle of anxiety and illness.

“I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t stressed,” she shared.

“Todd and I are tricky. We’ve been together for a long time,” Bronwyn said. “I do really love Todd.”

That’s what makes the situation harder. According to Bronwyn, the past year hit them with more than they expected: her mother’s illness, the death of her father, and the emotional weight of turning 40 all stacked on top of long-standing relationship strain.

And there is a huge part of me that wants that for him.”

Bronwyn Newport Admits Todd Is Ready to Fix Marriage But Says She Needs Space 95

She admitted part of her still wants reconciliation. But another part feels exhausted by the idea of having to explain what should already be understood.

“I do want us to be together. I’d love to just smooth it over and move forward,” Bronwyn said. “There’s also a part of me that feels like some things you shouldn’t have to explain. Some things you shouldn’t have to ask for.”

That internal tug-of-war is where she’s stuck.

“I think I’m being very difficult for Todd right now because I don’t know what I want next,” she confessed. “I think I just want some space and some time to think about it.”

Todd, according to Bronwyn, wants to return to the closeness they once had and is willing to change to get there. The question is whether those changes would actually last — or whether she’s already emotionally past the point of return.

“I think as a 40-year-old woman,” she concluded, “I don’t wanna have to tell someone how to fix things with me.”
