During Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, host Andy Cohen clarified his recent comments about season 15 of RHONJ.
Andy Cohen is doing some backpedaling after his recent declaration that Bravo planned to reboot the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast for season 15 with all fresh faces.
On Wednesday’s episode of his Andy Cohen Live radio show, the Watch What Happens Live host explained that it is NOT written in stone that season 15 will feature all fresh faces.
Instead Andy insists he was throwing out options of what could happen for season 15.
The 56-year-old said:
“We had a caller the other day who called in about the Jersey Housewives, and I was just riffing, and I’m like, “Yeah.” You know, she had not heard that we are, you know, gonna reimagine the show in some way, and I was just, I’m like, “Yeah, well, we’re rebooting it. That’s why. We got it,” and she was kind of yammering on about Teresa and this and I go, “Yeah, well, you know what? Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces.”
“And that was me kind of in the mood that John is explaining to you that he feels that I have right now and that got printed everywhere as though it was something that I have not said on this broadcast 85 times. I’m like, “Wait, this is not new news,” and I was also not definitively saying it’s going to be all fresh faces. I was like, “Maybe all fresh faces, maybe not.” I mean, so it’s just so weird. Sometimes it makes me think there’s not that much to write about, you know?”
This clarification comes following Monday’s episode of Andy Cohen Live, where Andy said, “Alright, well yes, we are rebooting the show. We’re going to reboot it. We’re going to do something different,” after a caller complained about the New Jersey Housewives franchise.
“We’re gonna figure something out. We are all on the same page about that,” Andy added.
