Jessel Taank is firing back at Tamra Judge after the Real Housewives of Orange County star repeatedly called her the “village idiot” of The Real Housewives of New York City, and Jessel is making it clear that she has no interest in Tamra or her show.

During Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, Jessel addressed their ongoing feud while speaking to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, delivering a pointed response to Tamra’s recent comments.
“She’s not really on my radar, to be honest,” Jessel said of Tamra.
“I don’t watch her show, but I know that she likes to talk about people on her podcast.”
Jessel then offered a comparison that made her feelings about Tamra clear.
“All I know is her calling me an idiot is like a drunk person in a bar complaining about the noise.”
And despite the attention their feud has received, Jessel confirmed that she has absolutely no plans to start watching RHOC to learn more about Tamra.
When asked whether their disagreement had inspired her to tune in, Jessel made it clear that she was “not interested.”
The latest comments come after Tamra sparked controversy during an October appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, when she was asked about Jessel’s role on RHONY.
Rather than offering a traditional compliment, Tamra suggested Jessel served a very specific purpose on the show.

“Every show needs a village idiot,” Tamra said.
She then added, “I think she’s great for the show, but she just says things.”
Jessel didn’t appreciate the characterization and quickly responded on Threads.
“Lollllll I think this comment says more about her then it does about me,” Jessel wrote.
Tamra immediately seized on Jessel’s grammatical mistake, correcting her use of “then.”
“I think you mean THAN but thank you for proving my point,” Tamra responded.
However, Jessel wasn’t about to let Tamra have the final word.
“Hardly the ‘gotcha’ moment you think it is… but hey… look, you’re semi-relevant again! Enjoy it while it lasts, sweetie,” Jessel fired back.
Tamra responded by reminding Jessel of her lengthy tenure on RHOC.
“Not a two-time rebooter talking about me being relevant,” Tamra wrote.
“I’ve been here for the last 19 years! Call me when you make it 16 seasons.”
But the feud didn’t end with their social media exchange.
During a subsequent episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra doubled down on her criticism, suggesting that Jessel was responsible for some of RHONY’s struggles in recent seasons.
“Jessel’s been on for three seasons, and two of them were reboots because her seasons were so boring,” Tamra claimed.
She also alleged that several people connected to Jessel had privately contacted her following the controversy.
“I got people from the cast reach out to me,” Tamra revealed.
She claimed that former cast members and people who had worked with Jessel, including a makeup artist, had also reached out with negative things to say.
Tamra did not identify the individuals who allegedly contacted her or provide details about their claims.
The feud even caught the attention of RHONY’s Carole Radziwill, who appeared to side with Tamra.
Carole, who has already experienced tension with Jessel during Season 16, responded to the exchange on Threads.
“Chefs kiss is when you describe someone in less-than-flattering terms, and they immediately prove you right,” Carole wrote.
“Been there babe. 😂”
Carole’s remarks were particularly pointed considering her own uncomfortable interaction with Jessel earlier this season.
During an episode of RHONY, Jessel questioned Carole about her late friend Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, including asking questions about her personality that Carole found insensitive.
Carole, who lost her husband Anthony Radziwill to cancer just weeks after Carolyn died in a 1999 plane crash, was visibly uncomfortable discussing the subject.
Following the interaction, Carole suggested Jessel had “dingbat” qualities.
Jessel later acknowledged that she mishandled the conversation and should have shown Carole more empathy.
Interestingly, during the same Bravo Fan Fest interview in which she criticized Tamra, Jessel was asked whether she would rather be called a “village idiot” or a “dingbat.”
Rather than choosing between the two insults, Jessel joked, “It depends what village… Some villages are chic.”
While Jessel has faced criticism from both Tamra and Carole, she appears determined not to give either woman the reaction they may be expecting.
