Dorinda Medley is not holding back when it comes to Sonja Morgan, and it appears their longtime feud is far from over.
Following the October 20 premiere of E!’s The Golden Life, Dorinda took to Threads to unleash a series of scathing comments directed at her former Real Housewives of New York City costar, accusing Sonja of lying, living in the past and making degrading remarks about women.
The explosive social media posts came after Sonja revisited their infamous feud over Dorinda excluding her from a cast trip to Bluestone Manor in 2016.
During the premiere, Sonja admitted she was still hurt over not being invited to Dorinda’s Berkshires estate, claiming the snub cost her money because she missed out on filming episodes of RHONY.
Sonja also accused Dorinda of embarrassing her and the Morgan family by repeatedly bringing up her past sexual experiences.
But Dorinda clearly was not interested in revisiting their old disagreements.
As the premiere aired, Dorinda began posting about Sonja on Threads, making it clear she was frustrated by what she was watching.
“Liar liar liar,” Dorinda wrote.
“As it continues! Don’t believe a word she says.”
In another post, Dorinda suggested Sonja was jealous, tagging her former costar directly.
“Jealous @sonjatmorgan COVER!!!!”
Dorinda also criticized what she described as degrading behavior toward women.
“It’s UGLY AND DEGRADING @sonjatmorgan,” she wrote.
She continued in another post, “Sad that the start is with degrading women and truly gross ugly words against our feminine pride.”
The comments appeared to be a response to Sonja’s remarks about Dorinda during the premiere, including a moment when Sonja was asked to play a game of “F***, Marry, Kill” and described Dorinda as “unf***able.”
Dorinda’s frustration appeared to grow as the episode continued, with the RHONY alum questioning why Sonja was still bringing up incidents from so many years ago.
“Could we please help @sonjatmorgan move into the present and not live 20 years ago,” Dorinda wrote, adding the hashtags “#helpher” and “#graygardens.”
She followed that up with another post referencing how long ago the original drama happened.
“Again 30 years ago #oldnews.”
But perhaps Dorinda’s harshest remark came when she directly accused Sonja of becoming frightening.
“Sad,” Dorinda wrote.
“Please move on @sonjatmorgan you’re becoming scary.”
Dorinda also took what appeared to be another shot at Sonja’s future on the series.
“Let’s see what she has to offer next season #tagsaledream #auction 👻”
The heated posts mark an explosive beginning for The Golden Life, which reunites Dorinda, Sonja, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Kelly Bensimon as they navigate their lives and friendships in Palm Beach, Florida.
Although the new E! series was promoted as a fresh chapter for the former RHONY stars, the premiere quickly proved that some of their old disagreements remain unresolved.
At the center of Dorinda and Sonja’s latest fallout is their infamous 2016 Bluestone Manor drama.
During RHONY Season 8, Dorinda hosted several women at her Berkshires home but did not invite Sonja.
At the time, Dorinda had concerns about Sonja’s behavior and her ongoing disagreements with other members of the group.
Sonja has maintained that being excluded was deeply hurtful, particularly because she believed it affected her role on the show and cost her income from episodes she did not film.
During The Golden Life premiere, Sonja revisited the situation, suggesting Dorinda’s decision had financial consequences for her.
However, Dorinda has maintained that the women have already discussed and attempted to resolve the issue multiple times over the years.
In a separate interview with TV Insider ahead of the premiere, Luann suggested Sonja tends to hold onto past disagreements.
Dorinda agreed, explaining that she believed the issue had already been resolved repeatedly.
The comments help explain why Dorinda became so frustrated watching Sonja revisit the same incident nearly a decade later.
But the Bluestone Manor invitation was not the only old argument to resurface.
Dorinda and Sonja also have a history of clashing over Sonja’s references to the Morgan family and her marriage to John Adams Morgan.
During their RHONY years, Dorinda frequently became frustrated when Sonja discussed her former marriage and continued identifying herself through the Morgan family.
Their disagreements contributed to some of the show’s most memorable confrontations, including Dorinda’s infamous “CLIP!” moment during Season 9.
Now, with both women back on television together, the same issues appear to be resurfacing.
And Dorinda was not the only cast member pushing back against Sonja.
Luann de Lesseps also weighed in on Threads, making her own accusations about Sonja’s comments.
“LIAR LIAR bathing suit on FIRE,” Luann wrote.
Luann also defended Dorinda after Sonja’s remarks about her appearance and desirability.
“I do declare: @dorindamedley isn’t unf***able, she’s just misunderstood,” Luann joked.
She also addressed Sonja directly, writing, “What a friend you are Sonja.”
The public reactions make it clear that the tension among the women did not end when filming wrapped.
While The Golden Life was intended to bring back the humor, friendships and personalities that made the original RHONY cast so beloved, the premiere demonstrated that the ladies are still capable of getting under each other’s skin.
And with Dorinda and Luann openly criticizing Sonja as the episode aired, viewers are already seeing the fallout play out beyond the show itself.
Sonja has not publicly addressed every accusation made in Dorinda’s Threads posts, and the comments reflect Dorinda’s perspective on their longstanding feud.
