Tamra Judge is not backing down from her comments about Jessel Taank, and now Carole Radziwill is getting involved.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently sparked a feud with Jessel after calling her the “village idiot” of The Real Housewives of New York City during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
While Jessel wasted no time defending herself on social media, Tamra has since doubled down on her remarks, claiming that people who know Jessel have reached out to share their own negative experiences with the RHONY star.
And Carole, who has already experienced tension with Jessel during the current season of RHONY, appears to be enjoying the exchange.
Speaking on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra defended her original statement, arguing that Jessel serves a purpose on RHONY because every franchise needs someone to play that particular role.
Tamra maintained that “every show needs a village idiot.”
She then claimed that several people connected to Jessel had contacted her after her comments went viral.
“I got people from the cast reach out to me. I had people from the old cast reach out to me. I’ve had people that have worked with her, including her makeup artist, reach out to me to say some not so nice things about her.”
Tamra did not publicly identify the individuals she was referring to or provide details about their alleged experiences with Jessel.
But she continued criticizing Jessel’s contribution to RHONY, suggesting that the show’s repeated cast changes were evidence that the current group had not been delivering.
“Jessel’s been on for three seasons, and two of them were reboots because her seasons were so boring,” Tamra said.
Her remarks come as RHONY continues its sixteenth season following another significant cast shakeup.
The franchise originally underwent a complete reboot in 2023, introducing an entirely new group of Housewives after Bravo moved away from the original cast.
Jessel joined the franchise during Season 14 alongside Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva and several other new faces.
For Season 16, Bravo brought back Carole Radziwill, who had previously appeared on the show from Seasons 5 through 10, while also introducing additional newcomers.
Although Tamra’s criticism was directed at Jessel, Carole appeared to agree with the sentiment.
On Threads, Carole shared her reaction to the ongoing exchange.
“Chefs kiss is when you describe someone in less-than-flattering terms, and they immediately prove you right,” Carole wrote.
“Been there babe. 😂”

Carole’s comment was particularly pointed considering her own uncomfortable interactions with Jessel this season.
During an early episode of RHONY, Jessel questioned Carole about her late friend Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, who died in a 1999 plane crash alongside husband John F. Kennedy Jr. and her sister Lauren Bessette.

Jessel’s questions included asking whether Carolyn had been difficult or unpleasant, which Carole found inappropriate.
For Carole, the subject was deeply personal because she had also lost her husband, Anthony Radziwill, to cancer just weeks after the plane crash.
Carole later described the exchange as upsetting and suggested that Jessel had failed to understand the sensitivity of the situation.
During the season, Carole also described Jessel as having “dingbat” qualities, making it clear that the two women were not immediately connecting.
Jessel has since acknowledged that she mishandled the conversation.
She admitted that she should have shown Carole more empathy rather than focusing on explaining the intention behind her questions.
Jessel also said she regretted not apologizing more directly when Carole first expressed how painful the subject was.
But while Jessel has addressed her interaction with Carole, her feud with Tamra appears to be continuing.
After Tamra made the original “village idiot” remark on WWHL, Jessel responded on Threads.
Rather than letting the exchange end there, Tamra fired back by correcting Jessel’s grammar, pointing out that she should have used “than” instead of “then.”
The back-and-forth has now extended beyond a disagreement between two Housewives from different franchises, with Carole seemingly siding with Tamra.
The situation is especially interesting because Tamra is not a member of the RHONY cast, yet she has become one of Jessel’s most vocal critics.
And with Tamra now claiming that current cast members, former Housewives and even someone who worked with Jessel have privately contacted her, the feud appears to be gaining momentum.
For now, those claims remain Tamra’s account of what others allegedly told her, and the individuals she referenced have not been publicly identified.
Meanwhile, Carole’s reaction suggests that her own tension with Jessel is far from forgotten.
With RHONY still airing and the women continuing to exchange comments on social media, it looks like Jessel is facing criticism both from within her own franchise and from Housewives outside of New York.
