During an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was asked about Milania’s recent decision to publicly share her mental health diagnoses and the difficult experiences she has faced over the past several months.

Joe expressed relief that his niece is opening up about what she has been going through and said he believes she is moving in a positive direction.

“Listen, that’s what we needed,” Joe began. “We needed her to just come through and understand what was going on because, you know, people, when they’re going through hard times, they just don’t, they don’t know it, and they deny it.”

Joe explained that acknowledging personal struggles can be an important step toward getting support.

“But when they admit it, we’re there. And she’s there. She’s so strong. She is amazing. She really is. She’s right there and she’s about to turn that corner and here we go.”

His comments come after Milania, 20, shared an emotional Instagram video on October 12 revealing that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and also struggles with depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD.

Milania explained that she is receiving professional treatment and working on her mental health, making it clear that she is not ashamed of her diagnoses.

“I am not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders and I do work on myself,” Milania said in her video.

The revelation followed several difficult months for Teresa Giudice’s daughter.

In May, Milania was arrested following an alleged domestic dispute at her family’s New Jersey home. She was charged with simple assault and pleaded not guilty.

She also experienced the devastating loss of a close friend, which her father, Joe Giudice, previously said had deeply affected her.

In September, Milania made headlines following an emotional incident at Tampa International Airport involving Teresa and her older sister Gia Giudice. Footage of the confrontation circulated publicly, prompting Teresa to request compassion and privacy for her daughter.

After months of public attention surrounding her personal struggles, Milania chose to address her mental health directly, telling followers that the experiences had taught her important lessons about empathy, family and not judging others.

Her family quickly rallied around her.

Gia Giudice shared an emotional message expressing how proud she was of her younger sister, while Teresa, Joe Gorga, Louie Ruelas and several Bravo personalities offered their support.

Now, Joe Gorga says Milania is looking toward the future, and apparently, she has her sights set on something completely unexpected.

According to Joe, Milania wants to pursue mixed martial arts and potentially compete in the UFC.

“You know what she wants to do? And I’m going to help her out doing it,” Joe revealed.

“She wants to fight UFC. She wants to train.”

And Joe seems convinced that his niece has what it takes.

“Let me tell you something, I think she’ll be amazing at it,” he said.

“She can fight. She wants to do it and I think she’ll be great at it. I think she’ll be the champion.”

While Milania has not publicly announced any formal MMA training or professional fighting plans, Joe’s comments suggest she has expressed serious interest in exploring the sport.

The revelation is particularly interesting for longtime RHONJ viewers who remember Milania growing up on the show as an outspoken, energetic child who was never afraid to stand her ground.
