Gia Giudice is praising her younger sister Milania Giudice for speaking openly about her mental health struggles.

While speaking to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Gia said her family has been going through a difficult time and that she is incredibly proud of Milania for sharing her story publicly.
“We’ve been going through things, and I just want to say that I’m incredibly proud of my sister Milania,” Gia said.
Gia’s comments come after Milania posted an emotional video revealing that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and also struggles with depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. Milania made it clear that she is not ashamed of her mental health and said she is currently seeking help in a treatment center.
“I am not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders and I do work on myself,” Milania said in the video.
Milania also admitted that the last few months have hit her “like a bus,” following a difficult period that has played out publicly. In May, Milania was arrested after an alleged domestic dispute at Teresa Giudice’s home and was charged with one count of simple assault. Page Six later reported that she was ordered to enroll in anger management classes.
Milania’s father, Joe Giudice, previously spoke out in support of his daughter, explaining that she had been struggling with the loss of her best friend and the pressure of growing up in the public eye.
“Milania is a good girl. She has a big heart, she loves deeply, and she cares enormously about the people in her life,” Joe said. “She is also young and going through a very difficult period right now.”
Gia also said having Joe back in the United States would be “healing” for their family, especially amid Milania’s struggles. Joe has been barred from returning to the U.S. since serving more than three years in federal prison for fraud charges and being deported.
Gia has been advocating for her father to be allowed back into the country, whether through a pardon or another form of permission. She and Teresa recently attended a White House event celebrating Italian-American heritage for Columbus Day, where Gia said they were there to “explore” options for Joe.
“It was a very amazing trip,” Gia said. “It was truly inspiring, and I think it just gave me more motivation to want to fight even harder to get my dad back.”
Gia made it clear that her priority is reuniting her family.
“Respectfully, I don’t care who is in office if somebody will listen and somebody will maybe grant my father [permission] to come back here in some capacity, whether it’s a visa or whether it’s a pardon,” Gia said.

She also asked listeners to “pray for [their] family to be united again.”
Gia’s support for Milania comes after she also left an emotional comment on Milania’s video.
“I am so incredibly proud of you Milania♥️ I’m literally crying watching this,” Gia wrote. “You are so amazing, and I hope you realize just how strong and resilient you truly are. You are in control of your life, your story, and your future, and I know you are going to inspire and help so many people along the way.”
Gia added, “Your strength is something so special, and I couldn’t be prouder to call you my sister. I love you so much♥️🥹”
Milania’s decision to speak out has been met with support from her family and the Bravo world, with many praising her for being honest about her diagnosis and for using her platform to help others who may be dealing with similar struggles.
