Sophie Cunningham is returning to podcasting, but it looks like she is doing it without West Wilson.
The Indiana Fever guard announced that her podcast is back with a new name, a new cohost and a new direction, just weeks after West publicly disagreed with her comments about trans athletes in women’s sports.
“Sophie Cunningham is BACK with world renowned basketball trainer Drew Hanlen,” a message from the podcast’s X account read on Thursday, September 10. “New episodes dropping every Thursday, with Episode 1 dropping later today. This is No Hesitation.”

The podcast, which was previously called Show Me Something, has now been rebranded as No Hesitation. Sophie also celebrated the announcement on Instagram, writing, “The podcast is back babyyyy.”
Noticeably missing from the announcement was West Wilson.
West, who appeared on Summer House, had previously cohosted the podcast with Sophie. While neither Sophie nor West has publicly confirmed why the change was made, the timing is raising eyebrows because it comes about six weeks after West publicly pushed back on Sophie’s stance regarding trans athletes in sports.
In July, West posted a TikTok video disagreeing with the larger conversation around trans athletes.
“Transgender athletes in American sports is such a borderline non-existent issue,” West said. “Right-wingers have convinced a massive portion of people in our country that these people are, like, a threat to sports in America, when mathematically it’s not the case at all.”
West continued by saying that continuing to platform the issue only further isolates transgender people.
“And by continuing to platform this — politicians, athletes, journalists, news outlets — you’re only isolating transgender people even more by making them seem like this giant group of people is a threat to society, a threat to sports, when that’s just not proportionately the truth in any capacity.”
West’s comments came shortly after Sophie spoke to ESPN and said she does not believe trans women should be allowed to play in the WNBA.
“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,’” Sophie said. “I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think, with that, love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”
Sophie later doubled down on her stance during a Fever practice, calling it “common sense.”
“I think I’ll always believe in that,” she said. “I think it’s really important to protect children.”
She added, “I think there is room for absolutely everyone here and I think there’s room to love everyone. I truly think when you get people in the same room and have conversations, you have a lot in common with a lot of people. I’m there to love, but I’m also there to love biological women and I think there are rights that need to be protected.”
What makes the podcast shake-up even more surprising is that Sophie previously stood by West during one of his biggest public controversies. West received major backlash after getting together with Amanda Batula, who had been married to his friend Kyle Cooke, and the public came down hard on him. At the time, many people in his circle distanced themselves from him, but Sophie did not. She continued recording with him, supporting him and keeping their podcast partnership going.
Now, with Sophie relaunching the podcast alongside Drew Hanlen instead of West, fans are questioning whether the disagreement played a role in the shake-up.
As of now, West has not publicly addressed reports that he is no longer part of the podcast.
Sophie also has not said whether the change was connected to their public difference of opinion or simply part of the podcast’s rebrand.
