Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s divorce battle is getting uglier by the day.

After Brittany was granted a temporary restraining order against Jax, the former Vanderpump Rules star filed his own request for a restraining order against Brittany — and his court documents, obtained by TMZ, include several new allegations about their relationship, parenting and what allegedly happened shortly after he left rehab.
In the filing, Jax points to an alleged incident from August 2024, which he claims happened about a week after he completed a rehab stint.
According to Jax, he and Brittany spent the day with their son Cruz, first going to the aquarium before stopping for lunch at Hooters.
Jax claims Brittany ordered several shots of tequila during lunch, despite it being around 2 p.m.
He also alleged that drinking during daytime outings with Cruz was not unusual for Brittany.
“She would often drink during the day, and when we went to a park or a place like Disneyland or Universal Studios or the zoo with Cruz, she would put tequila in a water bottle that she kept in his stroller,” Jax claimed in the filing.
Jax then alleged that things became tense on the drive home.
According to Jax, Brittany asked him, “Should we have sex again to see if we still have it?”
Jax claims he tried to change the subject, but says Brittany became offended and angry. He alleged that she started calling him names and told him he was “disgusting.”
When they arrived at Brittany’s home, Jax claims she asked if he was coming inside.
He says he told her, “I would never have sex with you, you’re completely wasted and a drunk. A week after I get out of rehab, you get drunk like this in front of me and in front of our son?”

The allegations are part of Jax’s larger request for protection from Brittany. In his petition, Jax asked the court to order Brittany to stay 100 yards away from him amid their ongoing divorce.
Jax’s filing comes just days after Brittany obtained a temporary restraining order against him.
In Brittany’s own court documents, she accused Jax of years of alleged abuse, including “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence.” She also alleged that Jax threatened to “gut” her “like a fish” and accused him of fat-shaming her in front of their son.
Jax has said he made mistakes during what he described as one of the darkest periods of his life, but he has also said there are allegations in Brittany’s filing that he strongly disputes.
Now, Jax is making allegations of his own.
His latest claims appear aimed at painting Brittany as unstable, while also raising questions about alcohol, parenting and their post-rehab dynamic.
The former couple’s split has already included accusations about career sabotage, custody issues, finances, Lori Krebs, and who should be allowed around Cruz.
Jax recently claimed Brittany interfered with his work opportunities and cost him a $175,000 role on Special Forces. Brittany, meanwhile, has accused Jax of ongoing harassment and intimidation through their required co-parenting communications.
Jax and Brittany married in 2019 after years of dating on Vanderpump Rules. Their marriage and eventual split later became a major storyline on The Valley.
But their divorce has now moved far beyond reality TV drama.
