Jax Taylor is now asking the court for protection from Brittany Cartwright.
Just days after Brittany was granted a temporary restraining order against Jax amid their bitter divorce, the former Vanderpump Rules star has filed his own petition, claiming Brittany has been trying to destroy his work opportunities, interfere with his business deals and damage his reputation.
In the court filing, obtained by TMZ, Jax asked a judge to order Brittany to stay 100 yards away from him and not contact him. He also asked the court to stop Brittany from allegedly interfering with his employment and business opportunities.
According to Taylor, Brittany has allegedly spread “malicious lies” about him online and on social media. He also claimed she has contacted potential employers and business partners, allegedly threatening them with public backlash or “worse if they hire me or associate with me in any way.”
Jax claimed Brittany’s alleged actions have already cost him real money.
In the filing, Jax alleged he lost a role on the Fox series Special Forces that would have paid him $175,000 and served as what he described as his “comeback” role.
He also claimed Brittany has targeted six of his employers or business partners in this month alone, allegedly forcing companies “to distance themselves from me out of fear that she will create a public backlash against them.”
Jax also made claims about their 5-year-old son Cruz, who is autistic. In his filing, Jax alleged Brittany has been “grossly negligent” with Cruz and claimed she has refused to work with him on their son’s medical needs.
Jax said he has been sober for nearly two years, continues weekly therapy and believes he has done his best to step up as a father. He also claimed he has voluntarily submitted to random drug testing at Brittany’s discretion.
The filing also included personal allegations about Brittany. Jax claimed that after starting his relationship with Brittany, he learned she is “massively unstable and an alcoholic.”
He also alleged that Brittany often called him names including “asshole,” “loser” and “dirty dick.”
According to Jax, Brittany launched what he called a “full-on attack” against him after learning he was in a relationship with Lori Krebs.
Lori is Jax and Brittany’s former publicist, who has since been romantically linked to Jax following his split from Brittany. Their relationship has raised eyebrows among fans because Lori previously worked closely with both Jax and Brittany before becoming involved with Jax personally.
Jax claimed Brittany has gone “scorched earth” because of his romance with Lori.
He also addressed his current financial situation in the filing, saying he receives $5,000 per month from his Bravo deal, but that money ends in November 2026.
Jax claimed Brittany told producers she would not film with him, adding another layer to his argument that she is allegedly interfering with his ability to work.
According to Jax, his savings are “rapidly diminishing,” and he says he is asking the court for help because he wants the right to earn a living and move forward with his life.
The filing comes after Brittany accused Jax of years of alleged abuse in her own request for protection. Brittany claimed Jax subjected her to “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence.”
She also alleged Jax threatened to “gut” her “like a fish” and accused him of fat-shaming and degrading her in front of their son.
Jax previously responded to Brittany’s filing by saying he made mistakes during what he called the darkest period of his life, but also said he strongly disputes some of the allegations and will address them in court.
Now, Jax is making allegations of his own.
