Steven McBee Jr. is reacting to Allie Eklund teasing a tallow line of her own after viewers watched tallow become a major point of tension between Allie and Kacie McBee on Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty.
During an exclusive interview with the Roxanne and Shantel podcast, Steven didn’t hold back when asked what he and his family thought about Allie now teasing her own tallow product following everything that played out with Kacie.
For context, viewers watched Kacie work on building her own tallow skincare business throughout Season 3. At one point, there were discussions about Allie potentially becoming involved in the company as a partner, but the idea ultimately fell apart as tension grew between Allie and the McBee family.
Now, after her breakup with Steven and the end of Season 3, Allie has begun teasing what appears to be a tallow product of her own on social media.
When we asked Steven for his reaction, he said his family was “mind blown.”
“There was so much drama surrounding Kacie’s tallow business and whether Allie was going to be a partner. Obviously that never happened, but Allie has now teased that she’s launching her own tallow product,” we asked Steven.
His reaction was immediate.
“Mind blown,” Steven said.
Steven also pointed to the timing of one of Allie’s posts, claiming she posted about the product on the same day Tate was born.
“And she posted about it on the day that Tate was born. Intentional,” Steven said.
Steven says the tallow situation is just one part of what he describes as months of ongoing public back-and-forth following his breakup with Allie.
“It hasn’t stopped for three months straight. It’s been very frustrating,” Steven explained. “Really the entire reason that I wanted to do this podcast, obviously the finale just aired, but another reason is I just want to defend our position because we’ve sat here quietly for the most part.”
Steven went on to accuse Allie of spreading “lies,” “misinformation” and “half truths” about him and his family.
“We thought things would die down with Allie and, like, would move on and that would be the end of it,” Steven said. “It has been a three-month smear campaign where so much has been brought up, so much has happened, so many lies spread, so much misinformation or half truths or complete narrative manipulation.”
When it comes specifically to Allie’s potential tallow product, Steven claims she previously told the McBees that tallow did not work well with her skin.
“Allie doesn’t use tallow. She didn’t use our tallow. She can’t put anything on her skin or it breaks out,” Steven claimed. “She tried Kacie’s tallow one time. Too sensitive skin to ever use tallow.”
Steven then made it clear what he believes is motivating Allie’s new venture.
“The whole reason she’s coming out with the tallow product is because of this situation with Kacie,” Steven claimed.
During our conversation, we also pointed out that Allie had been teasing the tallow product on social media around the same nights new episodes of The McBee Dynasty were airing.
The timing caught our attention because the storyline surrounding Kacie’s business was simultaneously playing out for viewers on television.
Allie has also pushed back against criticism over launching a similar type of product, pointing out on social media that the McBees were not the first people to make tallow.
Still, Steven clearly believes the timing and history between Allie and Kacie make the situation more personal than simply two people entering the same skincare category.
There was also another behind-the-scenes incident involving Kacie that Steven discussed during the interview.
Steven confirmed that tensions previously arose after Allie posted about Kacie’s pregnancy before Kacie had announced it herself.
When we asked if Kacie was upset, Steven revealed, “Yeah. It kind of blew up behind the scenes.”
“Kacie handled it well, but Kacie called me immediately. She texted me. She’s like, ‘Hey, have Allie delete that,’” Steven recalled.
Steven says his goal now is to put the ongoing drama behind him, but he admitted that seeing new claims and posts involving his family has made that difficult.
