Cynthia Bailey may be a Real Housewives icon, but apparently Vicki Gunvalson needed a minute.

While filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Cynthia says she had an awkward exchange with the RHOC OG after Vicki failed to recognize her at a party in Atlanta.
The moment went down while Cynthia was dressed as 50 Cynt, her male alter ego that fans first met during Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 when Cynthia celebrated her 50th birthday with a Halloween party.
Speaking to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Cynthia laughed about the moment and admitted Vicki had no idea who she was.
“I go up to Vicki [and] she literally has no idea who I am,” Cynthia said. “She might’ve been a little afraid of me, actually.”

Cynthia said she assumed Vicki would at least realize she was part of the cast, especially since they were filming a Housewives event in Atlanta. But according to Cynthia, Vicki looked completely confused.
“[Gunvalson is] looking at me like I’m crazy, so finally I’m like, ‘Vicki, it’s Cynthia,’” Cynthia recalled.
Even that did not immediately click.
“She’s like, ‘Cynthia?’ I’m like, ‘Bailey … from the Atlanta Housewives,’” Cynthia said.
That is when Vicki finally realized who she was talking to.
“[Gunvalson is] like, ‘Oh, my God! I didn’t know who you were!’” Cynthia shared.
To be fair, Cynthia’s 50 Cynt look is a full transformation. The alter ego became one of her most memorable RHOA moments, and bringing it back for RHUGT was a fun nod to her Atlanta history.
But Vicki not recognizing her is also very Vicki.
The RHOC star has already had another mix-up on RHUGT: Roaring 20th. In the second episode, Vicki accidentally confused Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Crystal Kung Minkoff with Sutton Stracke.
Crystal told Page Six that she and Vicki had even interacted before the mix-up.
“I did Vicki’s podcast [before that], but sometimes we get mixed up,” Crystal said.
RHUGT: Roaring 20th celebrates 20 years of the Real Housewives franchise by bringing together some of Bravo’s most recognizable women for a cross-country road trip.
The cast includes Housewives from multiple cities, which means plenty of big personalities, old-school Bravo history and, apparently, a few name mix-ups along the way.
