West Wilson is finally confirming what Summer House fans have been talking about.

After reports surfaced that West would not be returning to the Bravo series, the former Summer House star broke his silence and admitted the rumors are true.
While appearing on the Broadcast Boys podcast on Wednesday, West addressed his exit from the show following one of the messiest Bravo scandals of the year.
“I wanted to tell it on my own but that [exit rumor] is true,” West said.
West also seemed to acknowledge that returning to the Hamptons with the current cast dynamic would have been extremely difficult.
“In Bravo’s defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer,” he added.
West’s exit comes after his controversial romance with Amanda Batula completely rocked the Summer House cast. Amanda and West confirmed their relationship after Amanda separated from estranged husband Kyle Cooke in January. The situation became even more explosive because West previously dated Ciara Miller, who was once one of Amanda’s closest friends.
The fallout dominated the Season 10 reunion, with Ciara accusing Amanda and West of betraying her and Kyle having to process his estranged wife moving on with someone inside their friend group.
For many Bravo fans, the Amanda and West relationship became one of the biggest betrayals the network has seen since Scandoval.
West’s departure was hinted at during the Summer House bonus episode that aired on June 16 following the three-part reunion.
The episode picked up on May 13, 2026, nearly three weeks after the reunion filmed, with a conversation between Amanda and Lindsay Hubbard. A week later, West sat down with Kyle at the apartment Kyle previously shared with Amanda on May 20.
That conversation now feels like major foreshadowing, especially because West made it clear to Kyle that he was done filming and seemed emotionally drained by the fallout.
Reports previously claimed that West’s exit was a mutual decision between him and the network. Sources also said West entered the reunion already feeling like his time on the show was coming to an end.
After the reunion aired and the cast continued to react publicly, it appeared West’s future on Summer House became even more uncertain.
Kyle has since called West out for allegedly failing to take accountability during their bonus episode conversation, claiming West had not even watched the episodes before asking to speak in person.

Lindsay also slammed West for comments he made about hoping viewers would skip the Summer House bonus episode, accusing him of speaking negatively about the show that gave him a platform.
With most of the cast angry, fractured or not on speaking terms, West now seems to agree that going back would not have made for an enjoyable summer.
West did not reveal whether he could appear in a cameo down the line, but his comments confirm that he will not be returning as a regular cast member when cameras pick back up.
