The Summer House star has been at the center of major cast drama after he and Amanda confirmed in March that they were exploring a romantic connection. The news shocked fans and the cast, especially because Amanda had announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January, while West previously dated Ciara.

West and Ciara dated for several months in 2023 before things fizzled. However, the two appeared to be getting close again last summer, which is why Ciara’s reaction to West moving on with Amanda has become one of the biggest storylines heading into the Season 10 reunion.

During the Monday, May 25 episode of West’s Show Me Something podcast, his cohost Sophie Cunningham asked him about Ciara’s reaction to the Amanda situation.

“This is probably me totally being mean, but did you ever get to tell Ciara, like, ‘Dude, we were not dating?’” Sophie asked.

West admitted that the last few months have been overwhelming and said he has not fully processed everything that has happened.

“The last two months, I’ve been in such, like, survival mode that I haven’t really taken a lot of time to process s***. I was just trying to survive and keep it moving and stay distracted. I kind of have run out of steam the last few weeks. I’ve had a lot of time to think and reflect,” West said.

West then acknowledged that Ciara and Kyle have both been hurt by his relationship with Amanda.

“I know a lot of people’s feelings are hurt, especially Ciara and Kyle. No s***,” he continued.

Still, Wilson said the situation with Ciara was not completely black and white. While he admitted they had reconnected toward the end of the summer, he claimed he was not looking to be in a committed relationship with her.

“Even though there’s so much gray area up for interpretation, at least with Ciara and I … the end of summer, we were canoodling again. I told Ben [Waddell] I wasn’t trying to be a boyfriend or whatever. I think it’s still a shock to the system and people feel betrayed. I’m not trying to convince anyone that their feelings don’t matter,” West said.

West and Amanda are expected to face major heat during the Summer House Season 10 reunion, which filmed in April and begins airing Tuesday, May 26 on Bravo.

In the official reunion trailer, Ciara can be seen confronting Amanda directly over her relationship with West.

“He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word. And I hope it works, because he’s with you to spite me,” Ciara tells Amanda in the teaser.

Ciara has already made it clear that she feels betrayed by Amanda, who was once one of her closest friends. The situation has not only affected Ciara and West, but also the entire Summer House friend group, with multiple cast members admitting that the dynamic has changed.

West’s latest comments show that he understands why Ciara and Kyle feel blindsided, but he also seems to be pushing back on the idea that he and Ciara were officially back together before he moved on with Amanda.

For now, West says he is not trying to dismiss anyone’s feelings. But based on the reunion preview, Ciara is more than ready to say exactly how she feels.
