Teddi Mellencamp is sharing her unfiltered take on Dorit Kemsley’s behavior at Alexia Umansky’s wedding — and she didn’t hold back.
Following Dorit’s own claims that she was ignored by cast members at Alexia Umansky’s wedding, a very different version of events is emerging. Teddi Mellencamp is now speaking out, offering a behind-the-scenes account that paints Dorit as the one who stood out — for all the wrong reasons.
According to Teddi, what was meant to be an elegant and intimate ceremony, hosted by Kyle Richards’ family, quickly turned awkward due to Dorit’s behavior — leaving some guests, including Teddi, feeling uncomfortable.
Speaking on her podcast Two Ts in a Pod, Mellencamp broke down exactly what happened — and why she says she was left “embarrassed” by it all.
Mellencamp recalled the moment Dorit arrived, noting that guests had already been given clear instructions ahead of the ceremony.
“At this point in the wedding, we are asked to not take pictures and to not take videos. Right around the time Dorit comes Bambi-ing down the stairs,” she said, adding that Dorit showed up late — although she clarified the ceremony itself had also been delayed.
According to Teddi, the issue wasn’t just timing, but Dorit’s behavior once she arrived.
“She comes there, and she speaks so loudly the entire time we’re waiting,” Teddi said.
Her co-host Tamra Judge chimed in, saying, “She has no self-awareness at all.”
Teddi agreed, admitting the situation made her uncomfortable.
“I was so embarrassed, and like you know, there were points where I’ve really loved Dorit, and there were times when I’ve really gotten along with Dorit.”
She went on to describe what happened once the ceremony began.
“And she is loud. Everyone else is silent. Then, when they start walking down the aisle, Dorit pulls out her phone and starts videoing. They just gave us instructions!”
When Tamra questioned whether Dorit had been present when the rules were explained, Teddi made it clear there was no confusion.
“Yes! She was there. Everyone was there. There’s no excuse,” she said.
The comments add yet another layer to the ongoing tension surrounding Dorit, especially following reports that her relationships with several cast members remain strained.
