Amanda Frances is shedding a bit more light on her experience filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her latest comment about Rachel Zoe is raising eyebrows.
While viewers didn’t see a ton of interaction between Amanda and Rachel during the season, both women joined the cast as newcomers, and it seems not everything was as friendly behind the scenes as it may have appeared.
The moment came via social media, when a fan commented on a post shared by Real Housewives Zone, writing, “Love Amanda on the show and it’s sad to see Rachel is showing her true ‘mean girl’ colors?!”
Frances didn’t ignore it, in fact, she doubled down.
“Meanest of them all,” she replied.
The brief but pointed response is notable, especially given that Rachel largely avoided major conflict on-screen and was often portrayed as composed and professional throughout her first season.
It also contrasts with how other cast members have described Rachel. For example, Erika Jayne recently praised her, saying she “fit into the cast seamlessly” and “knows what she’s doing.”
At the same time, Amanda’s experience on the show has been anything but smooth. Throughout the season, several cast members questioned her business and struggled to understand her work, leading to multiple tense moments and leaving Amanda feeling singled out.
Given that dynamic, her comment about Rachel may hint at interactions that didn’t fully make it to air — or at least a different perspective than what viewers saw.
So far, Rachel hasn’t publicly responded to Amanda’s remark.
But with both women being newcomers and Amanda already speaking out about her experience with the group, it’s clear there may be more to their dynamic than what played out on camera.
And if this is any indication, that tension might not be over just yet.
