In a surprising shift from her previous stance, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has revealed that she has reached out to her brother Joe Gorga amid their years-long family feud.

Speaking on the October 9 episode of iHeartRadio’s I Do, Part 2 podcast, Giudice confirmed that she has initiated contact with Joe and his wife, Melissa Gorga, despite once saying she would “never” reconcile with them.
“Time does heal all wounds. And when time goes by, you forget things,” Giudice said.
She explained that conversations with her daughter Gia, while preparing for their time together on Special Forces, inspired her to take action.
“Gia and I were on Special Forces. We spent a lot of time together before we went on Special Forces and we talked a lot about a lot of things. So I want to be a good example for my children.”
Giudice, 53, shares four daughters with her ex-husband Joe Giudice: Gia, 24, Gabriella, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 16. She said her desire to show her children how to prioritize family played a major role in her decision to reach out.

“Be a beautiful family,” she said. “If someone doesn’t get along, be the bigger person. Try to make it work. I’ve got to practice what I preach.”
Teresa’s outreach appears to have been prompted in part by a September interview on Jeff Lewis Live, when she was asked if reconciliation with Joe and Melissa was possible.
“I mean, never say never,” she said at the time.
While it’s unclear whether Joe and Melissa have responded or what the next steps might be, Teresa Giudice has taken the first step by reaching out directly to her brother, signaling a possible turning point in their fractured relationship.
