Annemarie Wiley Slams RHOBH as “Toxic and Satanic,” Says Bravo Silenced Her Story

When Annemarie Wiley signed on for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she thought she was stepping into a glamorous, empowering community of women. What she found, according to a candid new interview, was something far more orchestrated — and, as she now describes it, “toxic,” “calculated,” and at times “satanic.”

The 41-year-old nurse anesthetist and wife of former NFL player Marcellus Wiley is opening up about her experience on season 13 of the Bravo reality series — a season that ended up being her first and last. In an interview with Evie Magazine, Annemarie Wiley claimed producers retaliated against her after she expressed conservative-leaning views, particularly around transgender athletes and child exploitation.

“I wasn’t looking to be famous,” Wiley said. “I said yes to RHOBH because I thought I could share something different, something positive. I had no idea what I was walking into… I didn’t realize I was setting myself up for full character assassination.”

According to Annemarie Wiley, scenes that showcased her family or personal struggles on RHOBH were cut, including a moment when her mother revealed a terminal cancer diagnosis. Instead, the show zeroed in on conflicts that cast her as “problematic.”

“It’s produced. Not scripted, but definitely planned,” she said. “The producers have an agenda. I learned the hard way: They are not your friends… At times, it felt satanic.”

Her break with the Bravo community appears to stem from a clip that resurfaced online showing her husband stating he wouldn’t want their young daughters competing against male athletes. The backlash was swift.

“Suddenly, I was transphobic. A bigot. Just for agreeing that women deserve fairness in sports,” she said. “We support trans rights. But we also support women. And fairness in sports… That’s not hate. That’s biology.”

Wiley maintains that her position was not rooted in bigotry but in a desire for honest dialogue — something she claims the show deliberately edited out.

The controversy didn’t stop there. Wiley also recounted being criticized for voicing concern about Balenciaga’s 2021 ad campaign that featured disturbing imagery involving children.

“I’m speaking out against child pornography, and you’re mad at me? What does that say about you?” she said. “Suddenly, I’m a MAGA supporter. A Trump fanatic. Just for being outraged about the exploitation of children.”

The experience, she says, led to a dramatic political shift. Once a Biden voter who cried during George Floyd coverage, Wiley said she began to question mainstream narratives and eventually switched parties.

“I didn’t like where our country was going. Crime. Open borders. Inflation. No integrity. No plan. Just a lot of performance,” she explained. “When I looked at my values — truth, family, common sense, safety — it was obvious. I guess that makes me conservative now.”

She doesn’t shy away from controversy in the interview, even defending Donald Trump against charges of racism.

“That’s a weapon. It’s a word people use to shut down conversation when they don’t like someone,” she said. “They want to pretend Trump is the problem when we’re living through the consequences of [Democratic] leadership.”

As Wiley distances herself from Bravo and the reality TV world, she says she’s finding strength in her faith and her family. The platform she once hoped would showcase her values became, in her words, a cautionary tale about how media, politics, and celebrity can collide.
