Gia Giudice is quietly addressing the family’s recent airport drama involving her younger sister, Milania Giudice.
After video of Milania’s emotional airport incident began circulating online, fans quickly started discussing the situation on social media, especially on TikTok.
Gia, 25, appeared to respond after one fan commented on her TikTok video, writing, “Gia as the older sister trying to be the calm peacemaker I get you.”
Gia replied, “Job of being the oldest.”
The short response marked one of Gia’s first public acknowledgments of the situation after Milania was seen having a heated exchange with their mother, Teresa Giudice, and Gia at an airport.
Gia also liked supportive comments from fans, including one that read, “Praying for your sister,” and another that said, “You’re a good sister Gia.”
She also liked a comment calling her “the best big sister and daughter.”
The response comes after Milania’s airport incident sparked concern online. In the now-deleted video, Milania was seen upset while speaking with Teresa and Gia as police were nearby.
Milania repeatedly asked, “This is what we do now?” while Teresa told her, “I love you.” Gia then told Teresa to “let her do what she wants to do” before Milania snapped at her mother.
A rep for Milania has since confirmed that she is currently seeking professional help and is being supported by her family.
“She is currently surrounded by people who love her and is under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family,” spokesperson Marina DeSantis told TMZ.
The rep also said Milania has been navigating an incredibly difficult time following the death of her best friend, Victoria Zardoya.
“Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends, and all of us are doing everything we can to support her as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life, particularly following the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria,” the statement continued.
The rep added, “Milania is a good-hearted and caring young woman who has been going through a very challenging period, and our focus right now is simply on her health, healing and well-being.”
According to the statement, Milania may one day open up about what she has been going through in hopes of helping other young people, but for now, the family is asking for privacy and compassion.
“In time, she hopes that being open about her experiences may help other young people facing their own struggles, but for now, we ask for compassion and privacy as she and her family continue to navigate this together,” the rep said.
