PK Kemsley’s friend is speaking out in court documents about the financial drama surrounding PK and Dorit Kemsley’s bitter divorce battle.
Antony Antoniou, a friend of PK’s, is detailing what he claims he witnessed when it comes to the estranged couple’s “fractured and stressed relationship” and their financial hardships.
According to a new declaration filed on Wednesday, July 29, and obtained by Us Weekly, Antoniou claims he learned that PK and Dorit were dealing with cash flow issues back in March 2022.
Antoniou alleges that he began advancing substantial sums of money to PK, describing the transfers as loans that were meant to help PK and his family.
He also claims he was aware of the tension between PK and Dorit during that time.
Antoniou alleges that PK expressed concerns about the family’s finances, especially after he and Dorit separated in May 2024.
“PK expressed concerns about the family finances, especially following their separation in May 2024, including his inability to keep up with their living expenses, with little contribution from [Dorit] who refused to make reasonable adjustments to her spending,” Antoniou alleged in the documents.
Antoniou also claims that he discovered the couple’s Los Angeles home was mortgaged with two separate loans.
As both PK’s friend and someone with financial and real estate experience, Antoniou says he advised PK to let the loans default and allow the property to be sold by the lender’s administrators.
However, according to Antoniou, PK did not want to give up on the home.
“However, PK wanted to try to preserve this asset for the family and its equity,” Antoniou claimed.
He continued, “With regret, but understandably from a human perspective, he would not heed the advice … Despite not having the funds readily available, he would borrow or use whatever means were at hand to try to save the house, his rationale being it was for his children.”
Antoniou further claims that PK rented another home that would have been suitable for the children and allegedly offered for Dorit to move into that residence as well.
“He even offered to allow Dorit to move into the home he had rented so that she had comfortable accommodations in close proximity to the children’s schools,” Antoniou alleged. “She declined his offer.”
According to the declaration, Antoniou conditionally loaned PK $100,000 to help with mortgage payments and prevent a potential foreclosure.
However, Antoniou claims the loan came with a condition: the money would not be released unless Dorit signed a formal agreement allowing the home to be sold and confirming that Antoniou would be repaid from the proceeds.
“I loaned PK $100,000 to assist him in curing the delinquencies in reliance on Dorit’s representation that she would sign a stipulation agreeing that PK would be reimbursed from the sale proceeds so that I could promptly be repaid,” Antoniou alleged.
He then claimed that Dorit did not follow through.
“Based upon Dorit’s representation that she would sign the stipulation, I agreed for the funds to be released,” he continued. “Ultimately, Dorit reneged on their agreement and refused to sign the stipulation.”
Antoniou also alleged that Dorit is objecting to PK being reimbursed for money paid toward the mortgage arrears.
“It is my understanding that Dorit is objecting to PK being reimbursed for the funds he paid to the lender in the sum of $300,000 on account of the arrearages which included those funds he borrowed from me,” he claimed.
Dorit and PK separated in May 2024 after years of marriage. Dorit later filed for divorce in 2025. The former couple share two children, Jagger and Phoenix.
Their divorce has become increasingly public as both sides battle over finances, support and the future of their family home.
Dorit has not publicly addressed Antoniou’s latest legal declaration, but she previously pushed back on PK’s claims about her spending.
“I can tell you that what’s been put out there is not entirely accurate,” Dorit told Us Weekly in June.
She said that if headlines continue, she will have to respond with what she says is the reality of the situation.
“However, now it’s going to be more headlines, because I have to come back with what the reality is,” Dorit said. “It’s just a snowball.”
Dorit also defended her spending, saying the money she used was money she earned.
“As far as his opinions on what I spent — whether it’s $50,000, $1 million, $25 — it’s money that I’ve earned,” Dorit said. “I’m supporting our children.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also claimed that during their marriage, PK handled the finances and bills, but there was not enough transparency.
“I had asked him from pretty much the get-go for us to sit down and to discuss things and work it out together,” Dorit said. “In marriage, he was taking care of the finances and the bills. He was making decisions, and there was not a lot of transparency.”
She added, “That led to a lot of unfortunate circumstances.”
Dorit said she hopes they can eventually move away from the public back-and-forth and into a healthier place.
“I think if one person is looking to paint someone in a bad way, or create a false narrative, they’re going to do various things that they don’t work out for anyone,” she said. “I really hope that we can eventually move away from that and into better times.”
The latest filing adds another layer to Dorit and PK’s already messy divorce, with PK’s friend now claiming he loaned him $100,000 to help save the family home and alleging Dorit refused to sign an agreement tied to the sale.
As their court battle continues, one thing is clear: the fight over finances, the family home and who is responsible for what is far from over.
