The Real Housewives of Orange County OG, who is friends with both women, opened up to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea about being caught in the middle of Tamra and Shannon’s ongoing feud.

According to Vicki, viewers will see her try to play peacemaker as tensions between the longtime friends continue to explode this season.

“You’ll see this season, I did my very best to just kind of be the intermediator, but also say, ‘We gotta stop this!’” Vicki said. “In the real picture of the world, what are you guys fighting about?”

Vicki said she tried to remind both Tamra and Shannon that even if they no longer respect or like each other, they still have to be able to film and work together.

“OK, let’s say you don’t respect each other, let’s say you don’t like each other — but we’ve gotta work together, we’ve got to be able to do this,” she continued. “So you’re gonna see, I think things evolve a little bit.”

The latest fallout between Tamra and Shannon played out during a filmed scene at The Quiet Woman in Newport Beach, where Tamra told Shannon she would never own a home or find lasting love.

Despite that harsh exchange, Vicki believes fans will see a softer side of Tamra during RHOC Season 20.

“I know Shannon wasn’t wanting to apologize because she didn’t feel like she did anything wrong,” Vicki explained. “Tamra did really show some softness of herself this season — which I loved — because Tamra is a quality person.”

Still, Vicki admitted that she did not agree with how Tamra spoke to Shannon.

“I love Tamra and I just didn’t like the way she was treating Shannon,” Vicki said. “When you’re friends with both of them, like, why are you being so mean?”

Vicki also weighed in on another premiere episode moment involving Jennifer Pedranti, who told Tamra that Heather Dubrow had allegedly been speaking negatively about Tamra and their friendship.

Vicki said she did not like how that situation was handled either.

“I didn’t like that either,” Vicki said. “I just want everyone to get along and whoop it up.”

She added that she thinks Jennifer may still be figuring out her place in the group, but felt it was not her role to bring that information to Tamra.

“I think maybe she’s trying to find her way a little bit, which is fine, but it wasn’t Jenn’s position to do that,” Vicki said.

Vicki explained that returning to the group after being away from full-time filming for several years has given her a different perspective.

“I haven’t filmed with these ladies in four years,” she said. “I was a ‘friend’ a couple seasons and that was the worst thing to do because you didn’t know what was going on and I’m like, ‘OK, what are we doing now? Why is everyone mad at each other?’ So I come from a different place.”
