Lindsay Hubbard could not be more excited after Summer House just scored its first-ever Emmy nomination.
The Bravo hit earned a 2026 Emmy Awards nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program after 10 seasons, marking a huge milestone for the long-running Hamptons-based reality series.
Lindsay, who has been part of Summer House since its 2017 premiere, told Us Weekly that she had a very dramatic reaction to the news.
“I screamed, I didn’t cry but I got chills, and I ran a lap around my apartment,” Lindsay said to Us Weekly. “Then I started pacing around on the phone calling everyone.”
Lindsay admitted she could not contain her excitement for two full hours after the nominations were announced.
Summer House is nominated alongside America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Love on the Spectrum, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked and Welcome to Wrexham.
After calming down, Lindsay said the first people she texted were her fellow original cast members Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke.
“I texted Kyle and Carl on a group text first,” Lindsay revealed. “And then I texted our editors and our executives from Truly Original.”
According to Lindsay, her texts were filled with “a lot of caps, exclamation marks and extra letters” to properly express how excited she was.
“I am so beyond proud and excited for our entire team top to bottom,” Lindsay gushed. “From our producers, editors, executives at Truly Original, to [the] cast and our entire crew that has been with us for the majority of these past 10 years, I am just so happy for our show! Very well deserved nomination!”
The nomination comes after a massive season for Summer House. Season 10 brought even more attention to the show following Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s divorce announcement in January.
Amanda, who first appeared on Summer House in Season 1 as Kyle’s girlfriend before becoming a full-time cast member, announced her split from Kyle after four years of marriage. The fallout only intensified after Amanda sparked romance rumors with West Wilson the following month, though both Amanda and West denied the speculation at first.
Lindsay believes the season’s mix of drama, humor and vulnerability helped the show land the Emmy nomination.
“This season was jam-packed with drama, fun, and vulnerability from the cast,” Lindsay said. “It was a 16-episode season, with three-part reunion, and one additional aftermath episode: 20 episodes of premium content to feed the viewers was huge for fans.”
Lindsay, who also stars on the spinoff In the City, also praised the production team for how they handled the crossover chaos between both shows.
She said the editors were able to “seamlessly and flawlessly incorporate a present scandal into two shows” without confusing viewers, while still delivering new content that told the updated stories.
Lindsay called that work “beyond impressive.”
“They were working around the clock editing these shows and they did such a phenomenal job,” she added.
As for whether Lindsay is already preparing an Emmy acceptance speech, she is not getting ahead of herself just yet.
“I don’t want to jinx anything so I’m going to just keep my fingers crossed for now and see what happens next!” Lindsay teased.
For a show that started with a group of friends partying in the Hamptons, Summer House has officially reached a new level.
And after 10 seasons, Lindsay’s “Hot Hubbs Summer” may have just turned into an Emmy-nominated one.
