Janet Caperna is once again doubling down when it comes to Danny Booko.

The Valley star has continued to speak out online about Danny, his drinking and the allegations surrounding his behavior, despite Danny denying the accusations and his wife, Nia Sanchez, continuing to stand by him.

The latest drama started after Janet reposted a thread that read, “I don’t think Janet would be with Jason if he SA another cast mate, that’s the difference.”

Janet responded with the 🎯 emoji, which is a bullseye symbol often used to mean “exactly,” “spot on,” or that someone hit the target with their point.

The repost immediately got people talking because it appeared to show Janet agreeing that she would not stay with her husband, Jason Caperna, if he were accused of sexual assault like Danny has been.

Janet later responded to a viewer who defended her stance and blamed Danny.

The viewer wrote, “She apologized at the reunion, she apologized in San Diego. But Janet isn’t the problem, Danny is the problem. He’s rude to women, sober and drunk. And Nia covering for him is exhausting. Here’s a thought, maybe he should stop drinking? The minute he was told that he grabbed Melissa’s ass, that should have been it! Period, end of story.”

Janet replied, “amen.”

The problem for many viewers is that Janet continues to frame Danny as the main issue while also acting as if her own repeated comments about him have not contributed to the narrative around him.

While Janet has defended her comments by claiming others brought up Danny’s ‘dark side’ before she did, many fans and viewers have complained that the repeated focus on Danny Booko has started to feel like a pile-on, with Janet Caperna often being called out as one of the main cast members continuing to push the narrative.

Viewers have pointed out that Danny has already addressed and apologized for his drinking-related behavior, while Nia Sanchez has chosen to stand by her husband. For those fans, Janet continuing to bring up Danny’s drinking, alleged behavior, and marriage dynamic feels less like concern and more like an ongoing campaign against him.

That is why Janet’s latest comments are striking. Instead of taking a step back after already apologizing for some of her wording, she appears to be leaning even harder into the accusations against Danny.

The conversation continued after we wrote, “I’m sorry but Janet being mad over one liked post is insane when she has repeatedly brought up Danny’s drinking and pushed the “dark side” narrative about him for years.”

Janet responded directly to us and claimed the issue was about more than one post.

“It wasn’t one post, it was many. likes, reposts, stories, tweets, etc. and not just about me, my husband & marriage…he also liked posts body shaming @brittany, mentioning Cruz and many other things crossing the line, Other people brought up the dark side long before I did (see season 1).”

While Janet is now saying other people brought up Danny’s “dark side” before she did, viewers have watched her repeatedly discuss Danny’s drinking and behavior on camera and online. For many fans, that is exactly why her outrage over Danny’s social media activity feels hard to take seriously.

Danny and Nia have been open about having a difficult season. They have four young children, and viewers have seen the stress of parenting, filming and marriage play out in real time. Jesse Lally recently defended the couple, saying Danny’s “isolated moments” do not define his character or his marriage to Nia.

That is the part many viewers seem to understand. Danny can be held accountable for drinking too much or acting poorly without turning him into the villain Janet seems determined to make him.

Janet, meanwhile, continues to make it clear that she has no plans to let the Danny conversation go.

By reposting a comment suggesting she would not stay with Jason if he were accused like Danny and replying “amen” to a viewer calling Danny the problem, Janet is not just addressing past drama. She is doubling down.

And for fans who feel Danny has already been dragged enough, Janet’s latest comments may only make the backlash against her stronger.
