Lisa Rinna Says She Regrets Not Having More ‘Empathy’ For Lisa Vanderpump After Her Brother’s Passing; Reacts to Erika Jayne Getting Served At Airport Following Their Trip to Hawaii

A softer side of Lisa Rinna seems to be emerging following the death of her mom, Lois Rinna, in 2021.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she admitted that she regrets not having more “empathy” for her former co-star Lisa Vanderpump following her brother’s death.

Rinna admitted that prior to the death of LVP’s brother, Mark Vanderpump, she “didn’t even know” that the West Hollywood restauranteur had a brother despite the two knowing each other for nearly a decade.

“I think grief is… I’m sorry to say that. Grief is horrible,” Rinna added. “Grief is really tough, and until you’re in those shoes, you can’t really understand it, so if I could offer even more empathy, I would now, being in my shoes.”

The soap star turned reality TV star also shared her thoughts on Erika Jayne getting served papers for a $50 million lawsuit at LAX as they returned home from a trip to Hawaii.

Andy Cohen noted that he’d never seen Rinna run away from the cameras so fast.

“It’s really kind of funny. It’s really true,” Rinna quipped before explaining how the whole situation played out.

“It was like 11 o’clock at night, and we just didn’t expect that. And this woman pretended she was a fan,” Rinna explained. “She said, ‘Erika, I love you so much. Can I have a selfie with both of you?’ And I was like, over it. And I didn’t want to take a selfie. I had my mask on, and I kept walking.”

Rinna revealed that neither of them had any idea the woman was there to serve Erika with the lawsuit.

“And next thing I know, I started to feel this commotion, and I look back, and Erika’s got these paper in her hand, and I’m like, I’m just walking. I’m boring; I’m getting out. That’s all I can tell ya. Horrible,” she continued.

Rinna then noted that she and Erika “had separate cars.”

“That was part of the problem,” she admitted. “The cars weren’t there. We had to walk across the street.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Bravo.
