Danielle Staub of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, separated from Marty Caffrey after only a few months of marriage. Danielle got married in the Bahamas on the show. The RHONJ reality star said she was “anxious” to tell fellow RHONJ OG, Teresa Giudice. She recently told The Daily Dish it was, “because we are super close, not when things go wrong or anything. We’re very close. So she was the first for me to break my silence.” Teresa was in the wedding of Danielle and Marty. Danielle says she’s still trying to process marrying and separating.

Danielle explained, “I didn’t speak to anybody. I was in shock. Part of me is still in that state, but it’s not the same form of shock. I’m trying to compartmentalize it and it’s not easy still ’cause it’s still kind of fresh, the wedding is fresh.”

She credits her bond with Teresa for helping her during this difficult time: “I don’t know how I would have done it without her, to be honest with you. There’s nothing more I can say than that.” She also noted the similarities she shares with Tre for helping them get closer during this period. “There’s so many parallels for us” she said, adding they both are focused on “protecting our family and how do you make the right choice” when it comes to their lives.
Teresa has really been there for Danielle. She shared, “You know when somebody’s your friend when they always pick up their phone. We’re both OGs. We’ve been around it; there’s so many things in common. It’s that parallel that we have that makes her relationship with me so much more profound.”
