Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is opening up about her thoughts regarding Teresa Giudice ex-husband to-be Joe Giudice. Speaking on Jonathan Cheban Foodgod Podcast – Melissa opened up about Joe Giudice saying, “I’m really not close to him. I never was and I’m not gonna deny it. We were never besties…I never thought he was the greatest. My husband unfollowed him on Instagram because he thinks he’s crazy on Instagram.”
She continued, “It’s time to make new lives. I think they’ve both accepted it. The only thing everybody was holding on for is, obviously, the kids, because they want their kids to have their parents together. But sometimes it just doesn’t work out and it’s not working out because they live in two different countries at this point, so it is what it is.”
That’s not all – Melissa said she rarely spends much time with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice adding, “I don’t see her a ton, we’ll see her on Sundays for dinner… We’re both now at a point we’re so busy, having kids and husbands and appearances and all of these social things… We don’t have a lot of extra time. We’re both really, really busy.”
I’m not very surprised to hear Melissa and Teresa aren’t very close outside of the show. While they seem to be on better terms on the show – it is clear they are still two very different people.
I really am disappointed in Melissa’s comments. Not sure if she was just excited to be apart of the Foodgod podcast being that the host is BFFs with Kim Kardashian or what not – but sounds like she got carried away. Melissa & Joe have four nieces who love their dad deeply and it’s unfortunate that she came out saying they never liked him. For Melissa to imply that they unfollowed Joe Giudice off instagram because he is “crazy” was uncalled for. It sounds like someone may be a little upset that Joe Giudice is gaining quite the popularity since joining Instagram recently already gaining almost 400k followers. I don’t know why Joe Giudice being positive and active on social media would bother Joe Gorga to the point he unfollows him but I think his nieces are really not going to appreciate these unnecessary comments.
