Let’s Discuss: ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Recap!

Greetings Jersey Fans! If you thought episode one of RHONJ was a doozy the second episode only carries on where the first left off – get ready.

Tre is storming out of Margaret’s house, livid at Jackie’s (extremely poor) analogy. Tre continues to refuse to take any responsibility for her part in the feud and tries to tell her sister in law Melissa that she was being nice to Jackie. I’m neither Team Jackie nor Team Teresa here. Neither are winning in this situation and it’s definitely the lowest of the low to talk about alleged affairs with no proof along with kids doing drugs.

There’s no time to try and make peace, as the ladies are off to Lake George; however Jackie may be MIA as the two of them can’t be in the same room. The ladies meet at Margaret’s house which is currently under construction (when is it not?!) however Jackie ends up being a no show. It’s probably for the best because analogy or not, Tre is seeing red after Jackie said something about her daughter. The ladies seem to be taking Jackie’s side; however know that Jackie is a fool to every talk about any one of Teresa’s daughters.

While on the van on the way to Lake George, Teresa continues to defend herself while admitting she thinks that Evan is the hottest husband of the group, which may lead him to cheat (I believe her exact words were ‘suave’.) There is no logic in this van and it’s clear that Tre has zero remorse for her actions. What I want to know is if this story line is 100% producer driven or if the streets were actually talking. I don’t think Tre would pull this rumor out of nowhere so either give more detail or please do not make this a story line for one more scene. There doesn’t seem to be any credibility to it, so if it is producer driven that would be a new low for the franchise.

Back in Jersey, Frank takes David out to a shooting range, because what could go wrong with an ex-husband, current boyfriend and guns? The two have a surprisingly sweet relationship as David helped nurse Frank back to health after an accident when Frank could barely walk. This Jersey love triangle could have a reality show of their own as they are the true definition of a ‘modern family.’ Frank has a man to man with David and basically pressures David to marry his ex wife. It seems that Frank has taken the role of Dolores’ father as he pressures David to make an honest woman out of Dolores. I think that if it hasn’t happened yet, it’s not going to, so maybe let’s have a story line to help find Dolores a new man. Would certainly be more fun than the one we are watching right now.

Also still in Jersey is Jackie who has turned into a barber, giving all her kids quarantine cuts. Jackie reveals that the rumor has brought a lot of tension in her marriage, as Evan was furious that the show has drug his name through the mud. I have to say that I’m conflicted in this situation. I do feel bad for Jackie; however she could have won if she left kids out of it. I think she had everyone on her side; however now that she spoke about Teresa’s kids, you know this isn’t going away anytime soon. There were thousands of analogies she could have made and to say she chose the wrong one is putting it mildly.

Meanwhile, at the lake house it’s all girl talk and cocktails as a single Teresa is missing the company of a man and is ready to meet someone. The ladies head out for a sunset dinner where Tre continues to discuss her…ahem…personal life and reveals that Juicy Joe is now selling adult toys. Thankfully the conversation abruptly moves to Melissa and Jennifer’s feud and Jennifer shockingly gives an adult and mature apology. Did a drinking Jennifer actually do something nice?!

RHOC’s Kelly Dodd and Husband Rick Leventhal Are Building a Home in Palm Springs

Planting roots!

Kelly Dodd and husband Rick Leventhal are planting roots of their own as a newly married couple.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed on Instagram Stories that she and Rick are currently building a home in Palm Springs, Calif. In May 2020, the two purchased a home in Newport Beach, Calif, ahead of their October 2020 wedding, per PEOPLE.

The couple toured their property with architect Gorden Stein and builder Nate Rucker and documented it on social media.

“We just bought this lot. 2.32 acres,” Kelly said in the clip.

Rick added, “We’re gonna build it, and they’re gonna come.”

“That’s right. And it’s right next to Elizabeth’s,” Kelly said, referencing RHOC co-star Elizabeth Vargas.

Kelly continued, “We got a very, very famous architect, Gordon Stein. And a very, very famous, famous builder. He does all the people at The Madison Club.”

This home seems to be replacing the couple’s Hamptons home. Surprisingly, Rick and Kelly are currently selling their Hamptons home as it’s where they first met. Two weeks ago, Kelly and Rick listed their Westhampton home for $1.395 million.

“This is where Kelly and I met, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts, but we are on the West Coast now,” Rick previously told PEOPLE. “One day, if and when we move back East, we hope to buy or build another home for ourselves in the Hamptons.”

Clearly, Kelly is set on making Rick a West Coast man for good, lol.

This is wonderful news for Kelly and Rick. Who knows if we will ever get to see the home on RHOC, as Kelly’s future on the show remains up in the air, but I’m curious to see what type of home they build.

RHOC will return for season 16 in mid-to-late 2021.

Melissa Gorga Says She and Husband Joe Gorga Have ‘No Relationship’ with Joe Giudice; Reveals She and Joe Are Done ‘Backing Teresa Up and Sticking Up For Her’

No love lost!

Melissa Gorga is making it known that there’s no love lost between her, Joe Gorga, and their former brother-in-law Joe Giudice.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star reveals that she and Joe have not maintained a relationship with Teresa Giudice‘s now ex-husband.

“We have no relationship with him,” Melissa confesses. “We don’t talk.”

After years of family drama, Melissa says she and Joe chose to distance themselves from Giudice following his prison release and move to Italy.

“[Giudice and Gorga] have bumped heads forever, and it’s just like, what’s the point?” she explains. “It’s easier to keep the peace from a distance.”

“I wish him well; I know his daughters love him so much, and I wish him well,” she adds. “But we really just don’t have a relationship.”

Their lack of communication with Giudice hasn’t halted their family drama; in fact, this season, the infamous Gorga/Giudice feud seems to reignite in a major way.

In a preview of season 11, Gorga becomes enraged when he hears that Joe is badmouthing him in the press, claiming he knows things about Gorga’s marriage and business.

“How dare him say he’s got dirt on me?” Gorga demands. He becomes further enraged when Teresa defends her ex-husband.

“You’re going to defend him?” Gorga yells at Teresa. “F— that piece of s—. He put my mother in a f—ing grave. Do you understand that?”

Reflecting on the season 11 drama, Melissa admits she and Joe are fighting a losing battle when it comes to Teresa. According to the Envy boutique owner, it’s a mistake she won’t make again in the future.

“We are done backing Teresa up and sticking up for her,” she says. “We’re just going to mind our own business because we are always damned if we do and damned if we don’t.”

“Even when we’re totally team Teresa, we’re doing something wrong,” she adds. “I’m done. I’m done doing the right thing, getting in trouble, not doing the right thing, getting in trouble. I’m over it.”

However, Melissa insists she will always have love for her sister-in-law despite the ups and downs in their relationship.

“We’re fine. It’s always been what it’s been. We go back and forth with each other,” she says. “I think as a family; we do a good job of being on reality TV and keeping it together.”

Season 11 of RHONJ airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Tamra Judge Comments on RHOC Casting – Says she Would Come Back with THIS Housewife!

Just because she left doesn’t mean that she’s out for the count!

Former RHOC star Tamra Judge has some strong opinions on the OC casting, and has some suggestions for the struggling franchise. Speaking to UsWeekly Judge states: “I heard so many rumors that they’re going to recast the show, that they’re going to cancel it. They’re going to delay it.” “I don’t have any inside information but I don’t want to see Orange County get canceled.”

Tamra also had no problems patting herself on the back and telling the outlet what it would take for her to come back. Per Tamra: “I was a big part of that show being successful and I’m hoping that they can carry that on, whatever that means. People keep going ‘You’re going back, you’re going back,’ and I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t know if I’ll be asked back. There would have to be a lot of discussions”

As for which Orange County housewife may be able to lure her back, interestingly enough it’s not former bestie Vicki Gunvalson but rather former fan favorite Heather Dubrow! Per Tamra “I’m not dying to come back. And it depends on the cast. If it’s a good cast, it can really change things and make it not fun and not worth the stress. But I mean I would love to see Heather come back. I would like to come back with Heather and get rid of some of the people that are currently on the show that just have been played out.”

Hm…who could she be referring to?

Candiace Dillard is putting her D.C. area townhouse on the market nearly four months after purchasing a new million-dollar home in Upper Marlboro, MD.

Earlier this week, the Real Housewives of Potomac star listed her four-story townhouse, located in Oxon Hill, Maryland, for $799,000.

The reality star opened up to PEOPLE about the listing and why she finally chose to put the house up for sale.

“It’s a great time for the current market, and we have had the home in our family long enough to make a generous return on our investment,” Candiace explained, adding, “We were ready for a change.”

“While I’m incredibly sad to be letting it go, as this was my first home as a young adult, I know that the next owners, whoever they will be, will enjoy turning this house into a home of their own,” she continued. “We truly loved living here and took great care of the property.”

She notes that one “special” feature of the home is its “incredible location.”

“You become spoiled living up on a quiet hill, tucked away in the Harbor while still being able to drive five minutes and have access to all of the major highways that carry you around the DC, Maryland, Virginia area,” she said.

Candiace’s “absolute favorite thing about the home has always been the rooftop terrace,” as it boasts incredible views. “We enjoyed many nights out there laughing, talking and sipping. It’s one of the things I will greatly miss,” she added.

The 3-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home has 2,960-square-foot was built in 2013 and boasts four stories and 2 car garage and driveway.

Meanwhile, Candiace’s new abode is a major upgrade from her townhouse.

The 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 10,000 sq ft Upper Marlboro home was built in 2015. The sprawling home, located in a gated community, boasts multiple entertaining rooms, a grand foyer, a massive kitchen with wine fridge and stainless steel appliances, and spacious bedrooms, including a master suite that features a lavish master bath with a walk-in shower, large soaking tub, and vanity area.

RHOP is expected to return to Bravo in mid-to-late 2021.

From the looks of it, Lisa Rinna‘s daughters Amelia and Delilah Hamlin are as thick as thieves; however, a new report suggests that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

A new report from OK! Magazine claims that the model siblings are at “war” with each other over their rising fame.

“They’ve been competing with each other for years, and now that they both have celeb boyfriends, they’re convinced the other is trying to hog the spotlight,” spills an insider.

“They push each other’s buttons,” adds the insider of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin‘s daughters.

Ever since Amelia, 19, started dating Scott Disick, 37, in the fall of 2020, Delilah has been “annoyed because her sister [is] getting way more attention than she is,” dishes the source.

Delilah has been dating Love Island’s Eyal Booker, 25, for more than two years, so the model has been packing on the PDA on Instagram to garner attention.

“Now, whenever Delilah packs on the PDA with Eyal, Amelia feels like she’s doing it for attention,” adds the insider. “If they keep trying to one-up each other, things could get pretty raunchy!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 11 in mid-2021.

Jeff Lewis Calls Braunwyn Windham-Burke ‘Incredibly Unlikeable’ and Blasts How She Treated Husband Sean Burke!

Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis isn’t one to shy away from telling it exactly how he sees it.

The former Bravoleb was recently a guest on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and was asked about last season of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Jeff responded that he thought Braunwyn Windham-Burke was “incredibly unlikeable’ and agreed with her co-stars that it was just one thing after the next. He revealed that all the drama in Braunwyn’s life left him wondering: “How much of this is real and how much is staged?”

The Jeff Lewis Live host then went on to say that Braunwyn was not only hated by the other women in the RHOC cast but also by her husband, Sean Burke. You could tell this comment made Andy Cohen extremely uncomfortable. Jeff admits he felt bad for Sean, saying that Braunwyn did “not treat him well at all.” This claim led to a variety of reactions in the virtual crowd – some agreeing and some disagreeing.

Keep in mind that Jeff Lewis is also close friends with Braunwyn’s costar Shannon Beador and has been known to have wild nights with her, along with keeping her as a client and decorating her homes. Shannon has recently expressed anger towards Braunwyn as she was not happy that Braunwyn implied she was an alcoholic during the RHOC reunion. Perhaps this may explain some of Jeff’s hostile feelings towards Braunwyn?
