Bravo, Bravo f–king Bravo strikes again!
Erika Jayne is NOT happy with Bravo. While it seems that Erika was upset and angry with co-star Garcelle Beauvais during last Wednesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it turns out that’s not the case at all.
On the August 4th episode of RHOBH, Erika accused Garcelle of “betraying” their friendship after revealing to the group, on camera, that her estranged husband Tom Girardi still calls her amid their divorce.
Yet a source tells Page Six that Erika actually felt “betrayed” by producers and the network.
“They cut it and paste it in a way to make it look like she was upset, but she was actually mad that Garcelle was told what to say three times and she took the bait,” the insider revealed. “They had three different conversations about the same subject.”
The insider added, “What they didn’t show is that Erika and Crystal [Kung Minkoff] had a private conversation where no cameras were on, and producers heard it via their mics. When they got in the car, producers said they overheard it and asked Crystal to ask [Erika] on camera. Bravo didn’t want to do the fourth wall. They pulled a fast one.”
The source notes that Garcelle was “actually never a part of the conversation” that Erika had with co-star Crystal Minkoff, which is “why footage of the women walking with their backs to the camera was shown with the voiceover from the hot mic.”
Another source adds that “Erika’s reaction to Garcelle was genuine.”
As a result of producers stirring the pot, Erika reportedly got into a screaming match with producers while filming.
This was revealed by co-star Lisa Rinna, who revealed the behind-the-scenes drama on Thursday via her Instagram Story.
“Dang it…I wish they had shown the screaming fight between the producer and Erika last night on the show in La Quinta. Now that would have been epic TV. Too bad. Bravo, Bravo, F–king Bravo,” Lisa shared.
She also joked that she would “get in trouble” for her post in “5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” Oddly enough she quickly deleted the post however Erika happily posted a screenshot on her own Instagram Story.
