The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 reunion has been a doozy for far, and we’re only one episode in!

Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga went at it during part one of the reunion.

The RHONJ OG finally admitted, what every Bravo fan has known for years, that she and Melissa aren’t close. Family, sure but friends, not so much.

“This is the thing, honey; we’re not close. Like, you’re my sister-in-law, but we’re not close,” Teresa said before adding that she’s super close to her fiance Louie Ruelas’ sisters, which is why they are part of her bridal party.

“Yes, I speak to them all the time,” she noted.

“My heart’s beating [fast] right now because it’s kind of sad for me,” Melissa clapped back. “It’s just that we have a lot of memories, even if we’re not close.”

She then noted how much she helped Teresa’s mom and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, with their four daughters while she was away in prison for a year.

“When you were away, I was the one helping your mother pick up your girls and bringing them to [their school] dance; you remember that?” Melissa asked.

“There was a lot I’ve done, so please don’t take that away from me,” she continued. “We have history, honey, me and you, and I love you very much, and I’m happy for you. But I think you should remember what family is.”

Teresa replied, “I don’t feel close to you, like, that’s the thing.” Melissa then notes that must be why she, Joe Gorga, and their kids were put at the friend’s table during Teresa and Louie’s engagement party.

Oh, but the drama didn’t stop there.

As the bridesmaid talk continued, Melissa pointed out that Teresa was a part of her bridal party. Teresa then called Melissa out for having her wedding while she was pregnant.

“[I was Melissa’s bridesmaid] when I was a month away from giving birth. I’m just saying, if she was a cool sister-in-law, she would have been like, ‘Let me wait until after you have the baby so we can party harder.’ Good sister-in-laws, wait!” Teresa told reunion host Andy Cohen.

Later in the reunion, Teresa struggled to remember a time she defended Melissa, even though she’s sure she has at some point.

I’d love to see this family get along. I really enjoy both Teresa and Melissa – so it’s so hard to see them at odds. I’m glad they finally admitted they have been faking being pals the last few years – we all saw it, but it would be nice to see them enjoy each other on and off the cameras.

Melissa Gorga thinks that her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice may be over the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The Envy by Melissa Gorga boutique owner appeared on The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday, May 3, where she spilled some tea about the future of RHONJ.

Guest host Michael Rapaport asked Melissa if she thinks “Teresa should leave the show to protect her relationship” and “Do you think that would ever happen?” 

While Melissa said she “doesn’t know if that would ever happen,” she does think that Teresa is over being on RHONJ.

“I think she’s come to a point where she doesn’t enjoy it anymore. It’s very obvious she doesn’t enjoy it; she doesn’t want to do a lot of the activities we do – she didn’t want to sing with us, she didn’t want to climb the trees with us. She kind of rolls her eyes at everything,” Melissa explained.

She continued, “I think that if it is making her unhappy and she has a guy who is financially stable, and they want to be happy, she should [leave the show]. Why do this if you don’t need to?” 

Michael agreed that Teresa shouldn’t do the show if it doesn’t make her happy however he noted that he couldn’t imagine the franchise with Teresa.

“Just [the thought] cracks my heart. I cannot have Teresa Giudice leave the Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Michael said.

During part one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 reunion Teresa Giudice called out her baby brother Joe Gorga for being too involved in the drama!

“He’s a little too much involved, that’s all I’m saying,” Teresa quipped while reunion host Andy Cohen defended Joe, saying, “I love it that he’s involved, and we invited him here.”

Tre shot back, “That’s fine. It’s called ‘The Housewives.’”

When Andy reminded Teresa that her ex-husband Joe Giudice was present for multiple reunions, the RHONJ OG replied, “With all the rest of the men and Joe Giudice would not get involved with girl s—t. Sorry, he wouldn’t get involved.” 

Joe then fired off at Teresa for constantly putting him down and letting her friend Jennifer Aydin do the same. As you recall, Jennifer called Joe a  “little bitch girl” during the season, and Teresa didn’t do anything to shut her friend down.

“That’s how you put me down. It’s terrible,” Joe said before saying he’ll call Louie Ruelas a “bitch boy” and see how Teresa likes that.

“I’m going to call Louie a bitch boy when he comes out,” Joe warned.

An unbothered Teresa said, “I love my bitch boy.” She later claimed that being called a “bitch boy” is “not a bad thing.”

“Bitch boy, I’m sorry, Joe,  you’re kinda like a Housewife. Sorry you are,” Teresa said.

“Oh, I’m a bitch?” Joe clapped back with a pissed-off laugh before warning Teresa to “stop it.” 

“As a matter of fact, I quit. I’m done. I quit. I don’t give a s—t,” he continued while storming off the reunion set. “I quit. Thank you very much, thank you Bravo. Listen, 12 years, I love you. I love you. I’m done. F—k you, people.”

He added, “You know what? Be a sister once in a while, you f—king moron.”
