All the deets on why Jen Shah Decided to accept last minute plea deal in Fraud Case

Jen Shah’s decision to plead guilty in her federal fraud case shocked everyone especially because she constantly insisted she was completely innocent.

So, when Jen appeared in a Manhattan court on Monday, July 11 for an emergency hearing the Bravoverse was surprised to learn Jen was pleading guilty to count one, conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.

Now, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, reveals why Jen entered a last-minute guilty plea.

“Jen pled guilty because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family,” Chaudhry told Page Six.

“Ms. Shah is a good woman who crossed a line. She accepts full responsibility for her actions and deeply apologizes to all who have been harmed,” she explained. “Ms. Shah is also sorry for disappointing her husband, children, family, friends, and supporters.”

Sources confirm that Bravo cameras followed Jen as she went to her court hearing on Monday. The court appearance and outcome will air on season 3 of RHOSLC.

As part of the deal, Jen faces “up to 168 months” in prison. She also has “agreed to forfeit $6 million, and restitution of $9 million.”

The mother of two will be sentenced on November 7.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is currently filming season 3.

Dolores Catania’s Boyfriend Undergoes Life-Saving Heart Procedure

On the mend!

Dolores Catania’s boyfriend Paul Connell is recovering after undergoing a life-saving heart procedure last Thursday.

“Over the past eight years Paul has suffered with an irregular heartbeat assumed to be atrial fibrillation. Recently, it was confirmed with a diagnosis of SVT or supra ventricular tachycardia,” Dolores revealed to Page Six. “He’s had many trips to the emergency room and consulted with several different cardiologists.”

She continued, “He finally found the right specialist, a cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Robert Altman, who identified that he had a syndrome called WPW. Now, what’s this you might ask? It’s Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.”

Per the Mayo Clinic, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is a rare congenital defect that is linked to sudden cardiac death in adults and infants.

“It is a very dangerous syndrome that causes an extra electrical pathway in the heart,” Dolores explains. “It causes a rapid heartbeat, and can be life-threatening if left undiagnosed and untreated.”

“So, if you experience palpitations or you feel like there’s something ‘off’ with your heart, please listen to your body and have yourself evaluated!” she noted. “After many years of my Paulie living with this, I’ve finally convinced him to take this to the next level. After working with Dr. Altman and having his procedure, his spirits are high and you can see there is a sign of relief.”

Meanwhile, Paul praises Dolores for taking care of him and pushing him to finally get the treatment that will ultimately improve his quality of life.

“I’m definitely feeling a lot better this week than I was last week,” Paul said.

“The last eight years of my life have been poorer quality than what they should have been because I stopped doing stuff in fear that it would impact my heart. There was a lot of anxiety,” he added. “But Dolores pushed me to get this checked out. She took control and I was basically a passenger. Because of her, I’m really optimistic about the future.”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.

Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino In Talks to Return to RHOC for Season 17

Two iconic OC Housewives could be returning for season 17 of the franchise.

According to Radar Online, the likelihood of Tamra Judge returning to the Real Housewives of Orange County for season 17 is increasing by the day.

Currently, there are two open spots in the RHOC cast after Bravo fired Noella Bergener and Dr. Jen Armstrong last week.

Several sources now claim that Tamra is in serious talks with producers and is very close to signing a contract to seal the deal on her return.

Meanwhile, Alexis Bellino has also been approached by producers to return for season 17. She hasn’t signed on but is considering the offer.

Vicki Gunvalson, on the other hand, has not been asked back.

Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson are likely to return as full-time Housewives. Snooze. Obviously, Shannon Beador and Heather Dubrow will be returning as well.

I am so down for Tamra and Alexis returning. I’d like to see them join Shannon and Heather along with two new women as full-time Housewives. I think producers should demote Gina and Emily to friends of the Housewives and toss Vicki into that mix as well.

RHOC is set to return for season 17 in late 2022 or early 2023.

Jen Shah has rocked the Bravoverse again by taking a plea deal in her federal fraud case.

Attorney Ronald Richards, who has long followed Jen’s legal case, first announced that the reality TV star would be pleading guilty in a surprise court hearing in Manhattan on Monday, July 11. Jen’s trial was set to begin on July 18.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star pleaded guilty to count one, conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. The US attorney agreed to drop conspiracy to commit money laundering as part of Jen’s plea deal.

As part of the deal, Jen faces “up to 168 months” in prison. She also has “agreed to forfeit $6 million, and restitution of $9 million.”

The mother of two will be sentenced on November 7.

When US District Judge Sidney Stein asked Jen what crimes she committed the reality TV star finally admitted her guilt and apologized for her actions.

“Wire fraud, offering services with little to no value. We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry,” Jen stated.

She also admitted that she knew what she was doing was “wrong and illegal.”

Since her arrest in March 2021, Jen has denied the charges against her which include conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection to a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme against the elderly.

After the hearing, Jen’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, released a statement to Page Six calling her client “a good woman who crossed a line.”

“She accepts full responsibility for her actions and deeply apologizes to all who have been harmed,” Chaudhry continued. “Ms. Shah is also sorry for disappointing her husband, children, family, friends, and supporters. Jen pled guilty because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family.”

Lisa Rinna, Dorinda Medley, and Leah McSweeney are slamming Bravo fans for harassing Kyle Richards’ daughter Portia,14, on Instagram amid the drama on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last week.

The comments on Portia’s Instagram got so ugly that she had to turn off the ability to comment on her posts.

Numerous Bravo fans told Portia to “F–k off” in various ways while others went on to slam her parents. One fan told Portia her mom Kyle was “a mean bully” while saying her dad, Mauricio Umansky, was “horrible.” 

Another fan told Portia her parents were “awful.”

Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney caught wind of the comments Portia was getting and posted a video condemning the harassment.

“I am not fully caught up on watching Beverly Hills but it’s been brought to my attention that the fans are harassing the s–t out of Kyle Richards’ kids. There is never anything that makes that okay. We need to stop normalizing objectifying Housewives as if they are not people because they are, they are human. There are real-life consequences to bullying and victimizing these women as if they are just there for your personal entertainment. It’s sick and it breaks my heart for her. It’s one thing to be harrassed yourself by the “fans” but to have your child/children harrassed is a whole different story,” Leah said in a video.

She then encouraged overly invested fans who are harassing the Housewives and their kids to “think about what you are doing and if it’s really worth it.” 

Lisa Rinna posted Leah’s video on her Instagram along with the caption: “Kids are off limits. All of the kids.” 

Dorinda Medley agreed, writing, “Yes.”

Erika Jayne is proving that she’s a pretty mess with her social media antics!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star went after the wife of her arch-nemesis attorney Ronald Richards on Instagram.

For the last two years, Erika has feuded with Richards amid her and her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s various legal and financial woes. Richards was initially part of the trustees looking into Erika and Tom’s finances however he later stepped away from the case. He continues to give updates and insight into Erika and Tom’s legal issues on Twitter.

Over the weekend, Erika turned her attention to Richards’ wife. The two engaged in a heated and petty exchange. Naturally, Erika got super vulgar in some of her comments.

“@laurenbouyetterichards Lauren, get back on all fours and take it in the ass from that beast you’re married to,” Erika wrote.

Richards called out Erika for going after his wife; calling the comments “disappointing.” He also threw shade at Erika’s age while hinting that Erika’s bitter about her legal issues.

“It’s really disappointing when your spouse, who has nothing to do with our cases, gets verbally attacked by an older woman who is upset at her own mess or receipt or misappropriated trust account funds. @ErikaJayne is this really necessary?” Richards tweeted.

Erika fired back saying, “Shut up. She inserted herself. Bitch ass. This ain’t my first rodeo.”

Meanwhile, Erika went on to send Richards’ wife Lauren a private message on Instagram.

Erika told Lauren, “Lame, like you. Stay out of this. You look dehydrated. Good luck Lauren, he’s going to turn on you. Be careful. Free yourself and find a new life. You need to be careful. He will turn on you. I’m not being mean. Protect yourself and your kids.”

Lauren quipped, “What makes you think he would “turn on me?” He’s nothing like Tom…”

“Lauren, he is Tom. Take care of yourself, please,” Erika said to which Lauren replied, “Thank you for your concern, Erika. Do you have any receipts to back up your comment?”

The one-season wonder curse strikes again!

Real Housewives newbies Noella Bergener and Dr. Jennifer Armstrong won’t be returning for season 17 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Noella was the first to announce she wouldn’t be back for another season.

“After a wild season of ups and downs, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Noella wrote via her Instagram Story on Friday, July 8. “Thank you to all of the fans for all of the love and support during quite possibly the hardest year of my life. I am looking forward to brighter skies ahead and can’t wait to share what’s next.”

Moments later Jen shared the news of her exit in a post on Instagram.

“I loved opening up about being a working mom on Real Housewives of Orange County. I am so grateful to have the privilege to talk about my father, my kids, and a real modern relationship on national television,” she wrote, “My family and my work are the most important aspects of my life, so I am stepping away from RHOC and focusing on them.”

She added that she was “grateful for the friends I have made,” and for the “next chapter.”

“There are so many exciting things to come, so stay tuned,” Jen concluded.

RHOC is set to return for season 17 in late 2022 or early 2023.

“they were recently on vacation and did not have a fall out. They are and will always be the best of friends. Teresa’s wedding is next month and she is in the works of signing off on getting it filmed. Dina is uncomfortable with the cameras and told Teresa to begin with that if the wedding is taped – Dina will not attend the wedding. Teresa understands and knew that from the beginning. They are both very supportive of each other and Teresa respects Dina’s wishes of not being around while cameras are on. Dina is in a different place in her life and wants nothing to do with the cameras. Teresa is not upset and they remain close friends and supportive of one another.”

Bravo fans had high hopes for Diana Jenkins when she joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The 49-year-old is super wealthy and as Jill Zarin put it she “runs with a fabulous circle of people.”

However, despite Diana’s estimated $300 million net worth, her bevy of Birkin bags, and her gorgeous baubles she’s not exactly being embraced by fans.

As I put it on Twitter: “Diana proves that money can’t make you a good Housewife.”

Fans also have a lot to say about Diana – and it’s not pretty. Fans are begging Bravo to kick Diana to the curb. Some have even dubbed her the worst addition to the RHOBH cast since Teddi Mellencamp and Carlton Gebbia. Yikes.

Ashlee Holmes Lands Herself in the Hospital Less Than a Month After Revealing Bipolar II Diagnosis

Ashlee Holmes just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to her health.

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple landed herself in the hospital less than a month after revealing her Biopolar II diagnosis.

On Thursday, Ashlee shared on Instagram that she found herself in the hospital after believing she was having a heart attack.

“The day started out with me accidentally locking myself out at 7:45 am. I didn’t get back inside until around 11:30 am,” Ashlee explained.

She continued, “Then around 12:30 pm I suffered what I thought was a heart attack at the age of 31 whilst at the grocery store with Cameron. Someone helped me call 911.” 

After calling 911, Ashlee was transported to the hospital in an ambulance. She waited for hours before learning that she didn’t have a heart attack but instead had “a severe panic attack” mixed with “costochondritis.” 

“I rode in an ambulance to the hospital where I was for HOURS and found out it wasn’t a heart attack, it was something called costochondritis paired with a lovely SEVERE panic attack,” she explained.

Last month Ashlee revealed that she was diagnosed with Biopolar II after suffering a “psychotic break.”
