Melissa Gorga’s family thinks fans and Teresa Giudice need to get over how she and her husband, Joe Gorga, joined the Real Housewives of New Jersey during season 3 of the franchise.

As we previously reported, former RHONJ producer Carlos King recently confirmed that Melissa and Joe did, in fact, join the show behind Teresa’s back.

“She had no idea,” King confirmed on The Juicy Scoop podcast. “This is a week before filming was supposed to commence.” 

“She said, ‘Oh my gosh, I just learned that my sister-in-law and my brother are cast members on this show. I did not know that until now. She had no idea,” he continued.

As for Melissa, at BravoCon, she continued to peddle her narrative that Teresa knew she and Joe were joining the show before filming began.

Despite the truth finally coming out, Melissa’s family doesn’t seem to care.

Melissa’s mom, Donna Marco, and her sister, Lysa Simpson, made it clear that they don’t care and that everyone should get over it, considering the betrayal was so long ago.

“Who cares 13 years ago,” Lysa commented with the laughing-crying emoji. “It’s 2022.”

Donna wrote, “Who cares 12 years ago!!!!” 

RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.

Louie Ruelas still thinks his brother-in-law Joe Gorga is a good guy.

On Wednesday’s episode of his wife Teresa Giudice’s “Namaste B$tches”  podcast, Louie gave props to Joe despite his ongoing feud with his sister.

“I met Joe through coincidence with Teresa, and it was very humbling and settling,” Louie explained. “The first moment I met Joe, I would even say both of us became very vulnerable within the first 10 minutes of the conversation.”

He continued, “Talked about my work as a man, working through s—t and all that stuff, like, you just like open up to him. Joe’s the kind of guy you can do that to or with.”

Louie notes that he met Joe for the first time at his Tom’s River beach house in August 2020.

“We went down for the day, and it was beautiful. There was no complaints at all,” Louie said.

He then addressed his brother-in-law directly, noting, “Joe at the core, really, your brother, honestly, at the core … your brother really is … a good human being.”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.

Season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey almost looked very different.

RHONJ OG Caroline Manzo has revealed to OK! Magazine that she was asked back for season 13 but admits she ultimately declined the offer.

“It would have to be the right scenario,” Caroline said of returning to RHONJ. “I did get asked back this past season, but I declined. I’m at a point in my life where I do things that make me happy. If I’m not happy, I’m not gonna do it. I’m not going to put myself in that position.”

However, Caroline isn’t closing the door on returning to RHONJ as a full-time cast member at some point down the line.

“Never say never —, but it’s not on my radar,” she explained.

While she’s not on RHONJ, Caroline is happy to see her bestie Dolores Catania shine on the show.

 “I wanted Dolores from Season 1,” she confesses. “She was offered Season 1, but she turned it down. I was a big soldier for her to try and get on [the show].”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
